It is refreshing to see a serious and obviously thoughtful investor who doesn't get all emotional and defensive about their picks and strategies. This is a seasoned veteran, not some kid tying to make a name for himself. I have no doubt he will always make the right financial decision without bringing personality and baggage into that process - like Ackerrman and many others. I think if you look at his record you will see no big mistakes. A trail blazer in picking small cap companies.Lots of upside successes with little downside risks - isn't this what every one wants. Sorry if he is not the showman some people seem to feel they need.He is not a front man - he is a thoughtful billionaire.

Thoughtful is to put it lightly. I find this man to be very intelligent, and I like the way he not only thinks but the way he works. The way you work says alot about the way you think.

Guys, not everyone is a Warren Buffett. People tend to get quieter and less energetic as they age (although I'm so happy that Warren Buffet seems to age backwards).

Be careful with these Baron funds. In November 2021 a Barons fund BPTRX hit a high of $226.70. Today it hit $ 130.47. That is a negative of $ 96.23 per share, or a loss of 42% in a little over 6 months. I invested in this fund to really manage the fund to control losses. But with this 42% loss on BPTRX fund, I don't consider it managing the fund. Especially if they are charging fees to manage a fund. I expect money managers to "MANAGE" a fund to control losses. Like they do with their own money.

being rich is a responsibility, you're powerful if you have lots of money, lots of resources, having lots of resources would bring attention to yourself and you'd want to make sure that attention is positive to avoid conflicts, how to do this? by not being wasteful and by being responsible with your wealth, show that you're humble to people with less money, and as far as this goes, the guy in the video is doing it right by not flaunting his wealth

It's not what's in their holdings that makes most Billionaires giant alpha..It is how much they spend on political leverage, lobbyists, super PACs and greasing regulatory boards. Have a crafty team of accountants and lawyers is crucial. Board members have access to higher grades of company stock which retail traders such as myself do not have access to. I'm not mad at them, envious maybe. I just use a more sustainable process for my risk tolerance and capital allotment down here on earth. It took me years to be able to manage enough capital to live off the juice. My prop firms aren't gonna let Joe Anybody have unfettered access to billions, chair seats and tax havens..nor will the IRS..... maybe some day...lol
