    Great review :) Lenses like this are what made me switch to sony; especially because of the AF speed and accuracy. Ever since I got this lens it's been literally glued to my a7rv. It shouldn't be possible to get such prime like sharpness in a zoom but somehow sony did such an amazing job with this it left me almost speechless. I will say though that I did have to go through at least 2 copies to get a golden one which is the one gamble we play with sample variation unfortunately. My copy from Adorama was amazing. I switched from the sigma 24-70 mainly due to the AF aspect. Can rely on it. Still I think for most people the sigma 24-70 is absolutely incredible value that also has beautiful rendering and lens itself is just so pretty. Makes me almost want to buy it again just to have it!

    I just received my Sony GM2 24-70. Are the internal elements in free state and rattle when camera not connected? Is that Normal? Will it not damage anything inside during travel?

    Bought this lens used but returned it because it didn’t seem any sharper than my 24-105 f4, but it may have been a bad copy hence the reasons it was sold used. So I’m going to give it another try since I loved everything else about the lens (weight, hit rate, AF) and it will be perfect for travel with my a7rv and a few primes.

    Perdón pero no sé inglés. Me gustaría saber si hay una gran diferencia entre la versión II y la versión I, con respecto a rapidez de enfoque y nitidez ya que me gustaría comprar alguno pero no se si valga la pena invertir el extra por la versión II. Gracias. Excelente video

    • @MarcTaraz
      @MarcTaraz  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The mark II is slightly faster, and does have better optical quality, but in the real world, the differences are barely noticeable. The big difference is the size and weight. If you can get a good deal on the mark I, there isn’t a huge difference. I hope that helped!

    • @MarcTaraz
      @MarcTaraz  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think it depends on the kind of shots you want to get, but I think this lens is definitely capable. Some might choose to pickup a macro lens. It all just depends on the shots you want to achieve

    • @MarcTaraz

  • @Roy-zl2bw

      I'd personally say 24-70, as I tbink it is more versatile. But everyone has their preferences, and space limitations. Maybe you really like the ultra wide look. But I would reccomend the 24-70
