Naveen Chandra Sekhara you can either do a quick dynamic warmup or just go light on the first couple of sets to warm up. I'm not a believer in static stretch warmup as it reduces your performance & intensity.

Can you put weights on the handles?
Hi, yes you can but you can also use resistance bands from the carriage to the base (which works much better than weight plates).
