@@jaxxone4907 Hmmm not necessarily. If IS-F installs RR Racing Stage III E85 780 S/C that around 650whp, they also have lesser stages from 530whp to 650whp. So you never know

They aren't underestimated in anyway, there isn't enough examples left.

In my k04 mk6 GTI, I kept a cars distance with an isF up to 130 mph. We slowed down afterwards.

Im still working on my 93tune. I am going to order the e85 tune probably in spring. It’s Boost season sale so everyone is ordering tunes right now. Even if i order it now it will take forever to get it.

Yes. On 93 with 4 revisions on my tune. Pushing only 29psi. I will get the e85 tune before spring.

He has a Vortex XL it's better than an IS38. Pump gas XL is comparable to a is38 on corn.

Great race but it’s a 3k pound car vs a 4K pound car.. I’d expect more tbh especially you being able to have turbo upgrades and custom tuning.
I dont know why you compare a 2.0 4cyl vs 5.0 v8. Stock for stock he has 2x my horse power. This is a 60mph roll. ISF’s top end is crazy he can easily hit 180mph. 8speed auto it just keeps pulling and pulling. In my opinion I did very well (My tune is not done yet and I didn’t brakeboost) And don’t forget that his car is not stock 🌽

Totally two different power ranges . My isf supercharged at stage 2 and just watching this I don’t think was fair race unless both cars had forced induction. Just my opinion that’s all lol but great video.
You'd also need to cut your motor in half too then, to make it completely fair.

The ISF started with an advantage before the Vortex XL with more power & cylinders. So this turbo brings it to an even match. Except the GTI is lighter by a good deal. Which is why it won.

Let’s see, I owned an E46 M3 (eventually supercharged it), and have driven an E92 M3 more times than I can remember. The Lexus ISF was a direct competitor to the E92 M3, and honestly, the E92 M3 is not that fast. Knowing the ISF was slower than the E92 M3 in all areas, it allows me to understand what the ISF is capable of and how fast it is.
The ISF won you when you were Stage 2 IS20, not because the ISF is fast, because because a Stage 2 IS20 is actually kind of slow still...It’s faster than stock for sure, but it’s not fast.
isf's are about as quick as an e92, pretty close. for me a stage two gti would be fast lol, depends on your scale of fast. 300whp for a 3100lbs car though is still quick.

First big props to OP, he built a fast MK7 GTI good for him congrats on win. But you Jace, Hmmm you never owned IS-F but your making "Ass"umptions based on your previous ownership of e46 M3???? And driving e92m3. The fact that your calling both e92M3 and ISF slow, speaks volumes to your blatant bias towards MK7 GTI. Hey even fangirls 🙍♀️🙇♀️🤦♀️are entitled their opinions as well. Ok, so stock for stock in race which will win? We know answer to that question IS-F, or M3. So you basically have three levels of power 1. Stock, 2. FB0 Tune ethanol blending and 3. Fully built motors upgrade turbochargers or Supercharger or if N/A add forced induction etc. Let's call them for arguments sake stage I, stage II and stage III.
In first first video they had equivalent power mods as in they should have made roughly same power increase. In that first race IS-F took win. On second race the IS-F had same mods lets call it stage II setup, FB0 Tune and e30 mean while GTI went all in with stage III setup Apr downpipe cts intake cts turbo back exhaust big MQB intercooler upgrade bigger vortex xl turbo eqtmqb 2.5 discharge pipe muffler delete, precision racework upgrade fuel pump, precision maintenance 925cc much larger injectors over stock. So IS-F had 4 things done to increase its power with one significant power increase headers where as GTI had 9 significant upgrades to increase its power. With GTI stock hp at 380hp and IS-F at 416hp there's not huge difference in power. The IS-F weights few hundred pounds more and GTI did minor weight reduction, I would expect GTI to win in this scenario.
Now on first race IS-F beat GTI by 4 plus bus lengths on second race GTI beat IS-F by it looks like 1 plus bus length maybe bit more. A win is win good for GTI owner in this video but your opinions about ISF being slow is funny. You know what they say about opinions right? There like assholes everyone's got one.🤭😆🤣. This was Apple to Oranges comparison. So if IS-F owner adds RR Racing Supercharger and is making close to 800hp and they race again and IS-F wins is it still slow? How can you presume to know what IS-F is capable of unless you owned and modified one? Why don't you do some research first before making uninformed statements of what a particular car is capable of especially one you've never owned 🤔. Based on your statements I could make same claim stock MK7 GTI are slow. Once modded they can be very fast, but then again that goes for any car. Not hating on MK7 GTI they are badass cars, I just have issue when people make blank uninformed statements.
