Yep, first trip to Vietnam. The 90 minute flight was part of the Business Class flight from Europe to Vietnam. I would never book a Business Class ticket for a 90 minute flight only :)

I was actually able to compare this Biz-class with SQ's larger aircraft on a recent trip, wherein BOM-SIN-BOM was on the B777 and SIN-DPS-SIN on the A330. I have to say I much preferred this one, as its a comfortable "classic" seat compared to the other that tries to "do" too much and fails. The only real disadvantage to this one is if you are a single traveller, since the layout is not 1-2-1. Speaking of which (and I'm sorry to correct you) the word in English is "companion" not "compagnon" :-)
I'm taking my partner to the Maldives in September, the flights are with Emirates flying from Glasgow to Dubai then to Male just wondering if you've done or doing a video on that flight as I'm thinking about upgrading as a further surprise :)

Random question. Suppose you arrived to Singapore on business class, but your next flight is in economy (all Singapore Airlines). So will you be given lounge access in this case?
AFAIK, it's not even possible to book different segments of one trip in different seat classes. If you had booked two different trips, you'd only be given complementary lounge access if the second flight were in Business class.

Great vid, but the seats look pretty dire. Also, it's not fully flat when it has an incline. No touchscreen either and no amenities. All and all this looks very uncomfortable.
yeah it's shit, but tolerable on short haul non-redeyes. what is not acceptable is the fact that they deploy these on medium haul sectors like seoul and tokyo. they also lose a significant amount of business from me on the TPE route, where BR offer a 1-2-1 reverse herringbone proper business product. SQ will be refreshing this product in the next 2 years but it's unlikely to be 1-2-1.
I traveled a long haul flight from Singapore to Christchurch and it was actually really comfortable and the service was impeccable although I have also flown business class with the a380 and 777 products which are better but the a330 isn't bad at all just not as good as their other products but still the same amazing service.

Thank your avoiding one of the most annoying parts of many other uploaders....that is, the fast forwarding of airport visits, lounges, taxi and takeoff !!!
I would indeed try to avoid them on a longhaul trip from Singapore to Australia, but in my opinion, they are ok for a regional flight of just a few hours.

The A350 is my favorite aircraft as well: spacious cabin, quiet engines, tail camera, large windows, and higher cabin pressure.

I could be a possible scenario if you book with miles, but indeed you would only get lounge access if the second leg is in Business Class
