Don't stop making videos like these! Love these lessons, I learnt that you really have to think before acting. Such as, preparing your own strengths and trying to find counters for the enemy faction as you said. I also learnt that, doesn't mean you have overwhelming numbers means you will win, it all comes down to strategies and the way you plan out everything that will reach your overall goal. Note: yo chould make a lets play of every faction in total war including all of the knowledge you have given us plus it would help your channel grow
Got my shiny new gaming PC this past week and 1st game I bought was Total Warhammer. Fantastic game but my tactical skills are shocking. Love playing as Dwarves (even though I'm a High Elf general in the table top game), so this video helped loads. Thanks :)
love the vid! I was wondering, what kind of build would you use as the Dwarfs against Greenskins? I'm having a hard time finding a good build against them for my campaign. thanks!!!
+Jor McBeath well that's a big question because it's campaign. I know I like to have at least 2 Siege units and about 3 or 4 quarrelers. The Siege units are important because it will make sure that the green-skins always come and attack you and not the other way around. They are also key to make sure that you can take out their best units before they get engaged with your melee units. The coolers should be used to make sure that you win any fight with range units and help to keep away any Cavalry that they might have. Always make sure to have at least two units to guard the rear from getting attacked. Dwarf Frontline can take a big beating so add the extra Firepower with range units. That's what always seems to work for me.
Nice touch not bringing artillary against vampire counts . But what if you fight against Bretonnia , and the massive cavalary army? Can just slayers counter that?
+Andre NMailho I would not bring Slayers to a fight with that faction. Remember Slayers get massacred easily from range units because they have no armor at all. Since bretonnia has lots of range options and usually will always bring some Slayers would get destroyed. Most dwarf units have great charge defense when they are standing still so you could bring longbeards iron Breakers hammers and they would all do really well.
Many mistakes, firstl u should oush VC with 2 units of zombie as a archery target for dwarves. Second cavalry put at the back, he would have to move units to protect back, then atttack from the side. Use Vargheists and on units that are charged by cavalry, or on the side.
