I take it back dude. These chords are really easier than normal chords. I realised I can do them I only struggle with switching :) You made it really eazy.
Hahaha! No, I don't think so! Just stick to it. It's like Duolingo, except you'll actually get somewhere with it putting in 5 or more minutes per day! If you can believe it, the chords for this song are actually very beginner friendly because these versions of F, G, and Am only use two fingers! Keep trying! You've got this!
What a lovely compliment. I'm afraid I don't really have many tips. I don't usually sing as well as I wish I did. One thing I've noticed, especially as I age, is that my range is very limited when I'm dehydrated. The more I consume caffeine and alcohol, the worse my voice gets and the harder it is for me to hit high notes. This was cripplingly bad when I used a nicotine vaporizer and didn't realize how badly they dehydrate you...back in 2016, I think that was (I don't engage with nicotine anymore, and I don't recommend anyone else does either). You might search for singing tips on TH-cam. There are some very talented, well-trained singers offering insight, I'm sure of it. My only real tip, I suppose, is to try and use your diaphragm. This helps you control your air flow and makes your singing much more dynamic and attractive. The other thing, I guess you might be getting at, is "how does one sing well while playing guitar?" If that's what you have in mind, my advice is: keep throwing yourself at it. You'll be nervous to even try, because your brain doesn't want to do two things at once. You've got to carve new neural pathways to make it work, and it won't be graceful. So keep your guitar playing as simple as possible while singing along (for example: just do down strums on the first beat of each measure). Then, try and make the guitar playing slightly more complicated (maybe up / down on the quarter notes), without giving up any of your singing. Then add in a proper strumming pattern like D-DU-UDU without giving up any of your singing. What will happen is that your brain will short out and you'll miss words, or miss strums, or miss chord changes, and come to a grinding halt. You'll be especially embarrassed if anyone sees you trying and failing in this way. But that's okay! Just push through it! And it'll come faster than you would have imagined. Good luck!
