You don't have to love maths for getting better at numeracy. Maths is a vast field and covers trigonometry geometry and calculus too. To get better at numeracy, continues practicing is required and working on improving yr memory will make that journey easy for you. The pathway to a better numeracy skill relies heavily on reducing the dependence on using calculators, to improving and relying more on yr own mental math skills, accurately counting-calculating on yr fingers.
Hi Metroun, can you please do a video on problems in the build environment and problem in construction law as I go into my final year having to do two separate dissertation worth 20 credits each. This would be a massive help. Throwing out a few ideas in each area. Studying my final year BSc (Hons) building surveying. Thank you.
Hey Sandeep, thank you for the video ideas. We will certainly look into this and get them added to our video list. We hope you are keeping safe and well :)
What I’m unsure with is that with a quantity surveying and commercial management degree you don’t really have many options but with a finance degree itself (not including economics) you have way more options after graduation, I just need a bit of help as idk if I’m wrong or right ?
The choice between a degree in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management and a degree in Finance depends on your career goals and interests. Both fields offer distinct career paths and opportunities but within different industries. On the face of it, you are perhaps correct that Finance could potentially open more doors to different types of industries rather than merely just Construction.

Does the RICS online Building Surveying Practice certificate hold weight when it comes to getting an apprenticeship/job?
Hello, RICS is an extremely well respected institution so any certification from them is likely to be seen as a positive to employers.
