Farewell 01 202 | Main Line Steam (4K)

The boiler service life of the Swiss-built steam locomotive 01 202 is about to expire. For this reason, the steam locomotive was transferred to Meiningen as part of a special trip lasting several days in order to assess and carry out the work for recommissioning.
On 27 February 2023, it travelled together with 01 519 of the Eisenbahnfreunde Zollernbahn from Nuremberg via Saalfeld and Arnstadt to Meiningen. The special train can be seen in Milbitz, Paulinzella and on the Oberhof ramp.
Bonus: on 28 February, the 41 1144 of the IGE Werrabahn climbs the Förtha ramp.
