@AyupStuggy thank you ,spirals take a little getting used to and folk either love or hate them, I don't use anything else now. 👍

    Looks great.
I have made a bunch of them similar to yours. Mine are oval with a hanger at the top.
I shape mine differently and sand differently.
I do like the router you did on the edge.
Most of mine are on a 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper, and a lot of them go as gifts.
The largest I made was a 2 foot x 3 foot out of cedar painted exterior gloss black as it was going to hang on their front porch.
I also have a couple videos on them.

A bit of machine wax on your scroll saw table should help with moving the wood ..even put a bit on the back of the wood as well .. Burning the names on with a pyrography machine would make the letters stand out good .

@@fishtank5050 Ive sent you a link to the 1 I bought ..very easy to use ..Easy to change nibs as well ..ive done loads of stuff with it ..I use graphite paper to transfer images then burn away ..very easy to get into and countless images on the net to do ..burns plywood and pine no bother although the pine you need to do a bit of sanding first before you do image ..I bought one of those cheap scorchmarker pens to try but they were pretty useless so bought Ammonium chloride and made my own solution and that worked pretty good although you need to have stencils made to do it
