R.I.P my S3 the ESC died on me this morning taking my daughter to school. sooooo I found that acedeck has a clearance on this board and so i ordered it! CANT WAIT FOR THE UPGRADE DREW!!! so stoked my man!!!!
Drew, my shuffle died, and my Gt Carbon sucks..The clearance is a crazy price,Should I wait for the N3 wood version because I really or hop on this clearance..
@Locksmith92 the N3 is a wooden deck! I mean if you’re looking for an amazing AT set up than this is your board. Price per specs it’s a good deal and a major step up from the shuffle and GT
@@Locksmith92 I just hoped on the N1 Clearance deal and freaking love this board so much! my pnuematic tires havent arrived yet but ive been doing 25 mile rides every night after i get the kids to sleep and im loving it! (Order the riptides right away)
@arranwilliams2523 Ok.say less bro..Wednesday I'm all over that clearance..is it jerky or what that means ? It's making me consider the Pivot which has great reviews, but I like how this board looks 100% more than the pivot ?
Man I ordered mine 2 days ago thanks to me researching for ever for a good board and finding your review on it and everything you showed. I'm so excited for it. It's shipping next week
Just bought the big dog, out the door for $1500, all these dudes that can't wait, it'll save ya a few if you do, then the wait also allows for the feedback
I like the update video idea. Tells us what the board is like down the road 🤙 I was seriously wondering what the balance on those vacuum tires was gonna be like. 🛞🛹👍
Great update, been staring hard at that "add to cart" button for a while now, but $1800 is a lot to spend. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna lose that battle eventually, just seems to be an excellent board, even for the price.
Totally agree, the Ares X1 2023 is coming out along with the X3. Acedeck over all has been a MONSTER at just launching quality board after quality board.
Got the n1 but the charge port is different. Ita no longer metal with the red dot to align the plug to the board. Its all plastic. Accelerating from a free roll is jerky and i have tone down some setting from the advanced menu like their CS told me so i guess we'll see. I got the 14s3p molicel gear drive version. Wish they can build a mount mount pack extender like exway but not as big and bulky. Like a 14s2p.
@@DrewElia yeah its pretty nice the deck is surprisingly comfortable. The board came alive with the 93a krank chubby and barrel in the back. 90a krank fat cone and 87a cone in the front. The stock bush was alright but im a riptide ride4life. Lol
My original plan was to get Nomad N1 later this year but unfortunately due to such a high cost in Canada (GST/HST + Shipping is just too insane for me), I decided to go with something else. I may not get this board in the future as buying the boards within Canada is nearly impossible for me.... have fun!
Drew!! This could be my next board! Wow, such a good deal too! I'm 200#...what kind of tire pressure are you running on yours? I'm kind of floating back and forth between this and the NYX Z1... But I just don't think I'm going to go off-road and I just really love to go fast!! I do need some range though because there are some rails to trails chat paths that I want to ride to and then ride the trail and then ride home... That would put me at somewhere around 25mi. Thoughts?
The Nomad is a Fantastic powerful board! My psi is near the top end for better range but when I want better grip for racing I’ll drop it slightly 1-2 psi The NYX z1 and newer z3 are awesome Boards as well! Powerful long range! 25miles is probably pending on how you ride the top end of the nomad n1 especially with the AT tires it just drains the battery. Range has a multiple of factors, wind, ground, rider weight, it’s just to many things to list 😂 but you can bring the charger with you and charge up where ever you are to get more range out of it! I love Acedeck and the products they bring. I use the area x1 with element gear drive a lot, that 14s4p on street wheels easily gets me a ton of range and power! So it all depends on what YOU want out of it! I’m sure spring deals are coming up as well so it would be worth a little bit of a wait to see any more pricing adjustments as well!
Accessories are always good to have extras! Customer service has been top notch from acedeck over all. If they are offering an extended range plan I’m not sure I would need that
Great video! Just got mine and haven't had a chance to ride it yet. I was going through the parameters though, is the acceleration curve the speedup line? If so, what is yours set to?
Krank formula bushing from riptide and follow their chart for weight, I like a looser/medium style feel so I use a combination of fat cone 90a and barrel 90a and barrel 93a all Krank formula
The regular AT gear drive option is 1100$ and the 2 in 1 element gear drive is 1300$ and with madwheelz 2 in 1 1400$ I want to get the 1100 one but the element 2 in 1 option for 1300 bucks comes with the 150mm wheels instead of the 180mm wheels. I really like the smaller 150mm wheels more because they are smaller and I feel like they'd be more nimble. So I'm wondering would I be able to swap the 180s out for the 150s later on? And what's the difference between the "AT" gear drive and the "element 2 in 1 " gear drive ? Is there a difference? Or is it just the wheel option.
The At gear drive is just you can only use AT style wheels, the element 2-1 allows you to use urethane and AT style wheels! The gearing is different between the two I believe so the 2-1 may not have as much torque off the line with AT wheels on it.
Subscribed! Great Video! thanks for posting. Does anyone have video showing what it's like to break down or replace the vacuum tubeless tire? can you use a liquid balancer or sealant like ride on? How available are these special tires? Thank you!
@@DrewElia What is the procedure to repair a flat with vacuum tubeless tires? Can you plug or patch them? Liquid balancers are much more than just a sealant and used together with traditional wheel weights will provide a very stable wheel.I first balance the wheel then add 2 oz. This also makes any puncture quickly noticeable. Thanks for the reply!!!!
I’ve got around Negative 10 degree in rear, way lower than positive 40 lol, but with the surf adapter up front…. Always gonna be BOTH more stable AND more nimble. Everybody holding onto nearly a hundred year old steering layout and wonder why you get speed wobbles and instability when it gets spicy. Please for the love of road rash and broken bones everywhere try the reversed rears with the waterborne adapters…..I hate to harp on it and sorry, Bro, I know you gotta be getting sick of me saying it….but I’m confident that it truly is that much better. I’ve rebuilt my boards an insane number of ways trying out different combination, SKT, DKT,TKT,surf trucks, Ackerman trucks, short, extended flipped reversed double stacked and inside out with enough bushings to stack up legs for a coffee table… and I’ve been using/testing this particular set-up for at least five years, averaging over a thousand miles per year. No crashes! Full speed through roller coaster bike paths and this is by far the best handling set-up for a board yet.
I've got a nomad and want it more carvy like you. I'm only 75 kg though so which riptide bushes would you recommend as I have no clue and the video confuses me a bit as the bushes you have in the front are different shape to the ones it comes with. Is that to make it feel a bit like a dkp board?
So check Riptides website and follow their weight chart look at krank barrel bushings 90a and 93a that will give you a good starting point and than you can buy/try more for a carving style feel.
Honestly no, this is already a heavy board with gear drive, wheels, deck, trucks being so well made, I don’t think needing more weight in the battery would be necessary. The NYX is their longer range system with 14s5p over 1000wh of battery in those. So for me, the Nomad being a great track board is perfect at this battery level, it’s got plenty of range and stupid power!
@@DrewElia Thanks for the reply , i didnt take that in account . the only thing i would like to see is another remote , something like what exway has done , that would be the cherry on the cake. looking forward to your next review
