This is wonderful that you have this video! In Chicago they didn't celebrate with a low pass for the United one.. instead they switched runways for everyone which made it difficult.
What was the water for? Making them notice it was the wrong airport? Or keep tricking them and making them think they were in the right airport since it should be raining where they were going o_O
***** It is a long traced back tradition to the nautical days. It has a few meanings, celebratory ie arrival of a new aircraft, signifying a fresh, new start, welcome. Another is the retirement of the member of the flight crew in charge (PIC) final taxi before retirement. I was told many traditions associated with aviation have their roots from the days when nautical travel was the only means of long haul transportation with many things still clearly visible ie, the flight crews uniforms, they are very similar to the captain and his first officer on ships.

Nice one Poland, hell yer.
Flew on Airbus A330 and hate it! Absolutely 787 is much more comfortable with no comparison!!!!

bs2502 Oh. I forgot about that, I remember seeing ships coming into dock that way as well. Thank you though for the information!
Straż się niezbyt popisała w tym roku z tym "polewaniem" :/
I don't like the tail paint job.
