When you trapped in an elevator, that's the scariest and horror feeling as well.

And the shoes blocking every exit point so the man couldn’t escape. That must be the most devilishly film about these demonic presence in these typical men’s footwear. I can imagine them climbing up the walls to the ceiling, if that horrifies you!

INSPIRED BY A TRUE STORY
For a short film, it's as good as you can expect it to be. IF someone had to fit an entire story into 4 minutes, I can't see it getting better than this. It's not amazing by longer standards, but for the time frame it's great.

The floor numbers were rising meaning the elevator was going up not down. Therefore he would be stuck to the floor, not floating. It's physics.

Thank you Leila, i didn't want to do another monster/paranormal movie like all others...it's always the same stories, the same scenes, the same kind of emotions...boring! I really want to innovate the kind horror, and i got idea to convert my story into a feature film, explaining the story of that shoes...
I believe that these shoes were once worn by someone of demonic origin which I think was why he refused to wear them. And I bet he was on his way to his version of ‘hell’. When the elevator reached a negative 666 floor! Who else could be that creative to conjure the feeling of being trapped?

thanks @nba73 😊 Sure i can explain : At the end of the movie, you can see a second person taking the shoes. And when you take that ones, they kill humans possessing them. There is a story about that shoes origin, i can explain only in a feature film.

@nba73 The guy died when he puts the shoes, at the 666th floor. When he arrived with elevator, he looks at the shoes in the hall, and he becomes possessed. Shoes led him up to this floor to kill him (perhaps he's dead or in an other dimension ;) )

Hi Gilberto, i advice you to test SONY and CANON new cameras (A7R2/5DmkIV) and choose wich one you prefer (look, comfort, colors,...). For the sound, take a ZOOM H4N with a MIC.

somehow I guessed the floor enumeration the elevator was going to stop at. for some reason horror movies seem to have adopted the vague ending which is okay, on occasion, but it is alright to make logical movies WITH explanations now and again too. regardless, this was a fine short and thanks for the film.

You know, after uploading my short on TH-cam, i read a story wrote in 1962, from the "Twilight Zone" serie, it was called "Dead Man's Shoes" and speak about a tramp who steals the shoes of a dead man.

Weirdest horror killer so far.
The script is a little preposterous but taking into the account of the great deal of trash horror shorts I’ve watched this is a good example of creativity no matter what. We need, we’re urging for new scripts, new ideas, new horrors. I’ve realized that there’s a lacking of innovation due to the videos I’ve seen with the very same idea... so, hats off to ya guys.... a new concept is always welcome kudos

Le film est plutôt bien réalisé, cependant quelque chose m'a interpellé. Lorsque nous sommes dans un ascenseur et qu'il descend, nous sommes normalement attirés vers le haut. Or, ici, le personnage est agrippé et n'arrive pas à se relever. Sinon malgré ce petit détail, le film est très bien réalisé

Bonne remarque pour l'ascenseur, nous ne voulions pas forcément du réalisme pour cette scène (le concept en lui-même est d'ailleurs plus fantastique que réaliste) et le fait de faire chuter le personnage au sol était plus intéressant cinématographiquement parlant.
