Yeh i try to make it simple. You could add one more level on top and do a second filter with a second cure and coffee filter but its not 100% necessary
I did this the first two years, and now I have a Vevor Water Distiller that literally pressure cooks my alcohol into beautiful clear liquid again, and I scoop the inside gunk out with a few bits of paper towel. really fun stuff this hobby is once you get the rhythm down!
Thank you so much for this. I have no interest in 3D printing, although wanted to know what IPA resin 'is', as I am interested in buying a filter (for something else) and a reviewer said that the filter was 'very good for IPA resin'. Thank you so much for this informative video. I actually watched the original video via a different browser, although rewatched on TH-cam so that you could get the ad revenue. Well deserved.
If you use cheesecloth instead of paper towel you can really squeeze the liquid out of the resin. It's almost like it was specifically designed to get moisture out of something gooey... It's also reusable!
You can use them for a second strain after the tissue to get any loose bits that got through the tissue but i didnt need to. Or you can filter once using the paper like in the video so its clear then put it back in the sunlight and filter second time with cofee filter. I didnt need to in this video because it came out filtered enough with just the paper towels
@@techclub8528 my routine is divert into Two containers. One is fill with old ipa for rinsing roughly, the other is fill with new ipa for rinsing delicately. And I also filter the old ipa like u did but without squeezing cuz i keep it from uv
Great video. I always get anxious about the workflow of recycling ipa.

I"ve seen the video distilling IPA. It looks very dangerous. You're cooking alcohol.

What does you use semi filtered IPA for?
You must be living with Brian Griffin 😆 "Dog proceeds to pick it up and trys to drink it"

How much time you left that bottle in the sun? I left one bottle for like 2 weeks and it didn't settle , it is still milky :)
What percentage IPA did you use?
That Runescape song got me.
