- The brambles are starting to take over this lawn tractor so let's pull it out the undergrowth and see if it starts.
Although it wasn't mentioned in the video I will just say here:
- The battery was new 10 months ago
- The engine hadn't run before recording this video
- The oil was new 10 months ago
- The fuel was new in this video - บันเทิง
Probably a good thing there wasn't any fuel in it because the quality would have dropped a lot over the 5 months. I'm impressed that you managed to train your cat to operate the camera.

Hi Daggerwin I enjoy following your channels and am a fan,An older one at 52 years old but a fan,I own a small engine shop in the state of Missouri in the united states and work on lawn equipment and wanted to point out an issue you may have with your Murray.When you checked your oil level and mentioned it was quite high for some reason and your gas tank was empty,It may be that your gas drained through your carberator and into the engine thus mixing with your oil,Smell your oil to make sure,While it was running the engine sounded mechanically noisey which could be due to thinned out oil.This is actually a very common problem in briggs engines like yours,To fix just install a fuel shut off,At any rate thank you for all you do and keep it up!!

I've worked on quite a few Murrays of this size. The 12HP Briggs IC is probably my favorite small engine. Can't say much good about those plastic idler pulleys, though. I've replaced quite a few and always swapped them for metal ones if I could find ones that fit.
How much land do you own all together?
That cover you should put a coat of flex seal on it. see if it works good. Lol

Ive got exact the same one Here in Germany... mine is from 1991... runs perfectly , only the cutter is hard rusty and need multiple fixes and its got an Original front weight
My kids pointed me in the direction of this channel Daggerwin. Nice to see you do some hands on work as well as the The Farming Simulator stuff. Keep at it.

Nice I've had a Murray before very nice lawn tractors. Currently have an MTD lawn tractor with a Briggs and Stratton and it sets alot and runs and mows like it's brand new and it's 25-30 years old.
There really good for towing I’ve got the smaller one and it can tow quite some weight
First riding mower I got was a Murray. Oh the memories. Was a good mower.

I have loads of tractor mowers and my favourite one has the exact same problem with the belts
You might want to check the oil for fuel. I've left my fuel tank full over the winter by accident one year and discovered that it drained through my carburetor into my crankcase. That might explain why your oil level was so high

Antony Evans I have too Ferguson TED 20s the are really easy to work on and would make an ideal project for the machinery restorer channel
Massey 165 for a universal tractor with a good bit of power compared to those little things. My small tractor is 95hp

Oil level was high because the tank is higher than the engine and the carb float didn't stay seated, you have gas in your oil, I'd suggest an oil change and a fuel shutoff valve installed.
