Wait a dam minute Tad.... Chad........ This show was ahead of it's time and teaching us as kids the reality of life while entertaining us and we never even knew it 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Actually, this case can be made for literally every other character in FoP. Seriously, there's like always one specific episode that ruins a character sometime in the later seasons.
This hits home for me. I remember being a dork but being close to the most popular girl in my school and everyone was “when are you guys going to be together?” “Are you an item?” Ironically enough we now live in the same general area now but we haven’t officially met.
I would like to point this out. I do not like when a character who we've grown to love has to change who they are just to get the love interest or when they have a character that pines for them and enjoys them for who they are but they'd rather pick the person who barely acknowledges them. Example: I like Family Matters and I enjoy Steve Urkel but he shouldn't have had to change into Stefan just for Laura to love him. Yes in the end she accepted his nerdy side but only after he went through lots of changes and made himself appealing to her. In Timmy's case I feel like Him and Tootie are good together because she accepts him no matter how dorky he is even when he doesn't accept her back. I see Tootie the same way I see Helga from Hey Arnold because to me they're kinda two sides of the same coin. They both have a massive crush on our main characters because of the fact that their home lives are so terrible that the main character is their only safe haven from their life at home. Please keep in mind I'm not supporting the way these two girls went about their love for the main character because they did go overboard sometimes and they could've handled some things better but I would like to say that In the end both girls did have mostly good intentions for the person that they loved.
It’s funny how a lot of my favorite childhood shows have questionable endgame love interests. Kai, Sam, Spencer, Mason could’ve been favorable if Peter Murrieta didn’t leave and let the writers ruin him in the last season. It’s even funnier that the one time said love interest actually developed from those questionable traits were in a trilogy of bad movies. Cuz if there’s anything nice I can say about the live action movies, aside from Crocker’s actor’s performance, was that they let her grow up. She’s not the same obsessive stalker that she was when she was 10 which I guess was meant to parallel Timmy’s lack of growth SINCE he was 10. Could’ve been real story potential with that concept if they all weren’t so bad. Daniella Monet Tootie, yes. Stalker Tootie, yikes. I still would’ve loved to see them explore a relationship with Veronica as in the same way Braceface and As Told By Ginger did with their “beta mean girl” characters but that’s just me.
I would have liked it if Tootie's design wasn't ugly (I prefer her beta design from season 0) and also if her character didn't revolve around being obsessed with Timmy
I thought so for a bit, but then on rewatch... Nah, she deserved that restraining order in Kung Timmy in the later seasons. She was fine at the start, but then she admitted to stalking Timmy at night.
The reason for them not working out is simple. Trixie, like basically all "beautiful" girls in American school shows is a mean, rude, unemphathic bee-eye-tea-chikory. Once you date them, or god forbid, marry them in the end, you realize what a demanding monster you let into your live.
In my humble opinion Timmy should date Missy. She debuted in Finding EMO. She is the only girl who said yes to Timmy and he got to go on a date with her. Finding EMO is such a good episode. Its one of the rare episodes where Timmy got a happy ending.
I agree with you, I also think Timmy should stay with Missy. I saw a theory on Reddit that the first 5 seasons and the following five seasons (the seasons with Poof, Spark and Chloe) and the Live Action films are set in parallel universes caused by Poof the first five seasons take place in a timeline where Timmy never wanted Poof and ended on Channel Chanse with adult Timmy In the last five seasons we have a universe where Timmy wished for Poof who basically changed the Timeline with his fart (It's not a joke, this actually happened in the premiere episode) causing the continuity to be altered (Croker never had Cosmo and Wanda Since his fairy godparents and Timmy were not to blame for his loss, the Rules were changed because now normal people can know about the existence of fairies and magic as long as they don't know who the fairies belong to, Crocker now knows about existence of fairies because his strong belief is the source of magic and because of this he can know that Timmy has magical godparents), it is also in this timeline that we will follow The New Wish. And to a third timeline which are the Live Action films in which Timmy refuses to grow up and stays with Cosmo and Wanda in adulthood
@@icecreamhero2375 That was just a dumb retcon that didn't need to exist it ruined Mr Crocker tradegey by making him be a brat that just lost Cosmo and Wanda it also uncharacteristic more Wanda an idiot by saying that ALL faries have bad memories and that she calls Timmy sport because she can't remember his name 🙄. 5:13 Correct, Jay. A *teacher* humiliating his own *student* for being naked and showing his shame in front of his classmates is absolutely horrid. "PUT THIS MAN UNDERNEATH THE JAIL!" Yes!
Simple answer It was NEVER gonna happened since everything just resets after an episode. And not gonna lie as huge as this show was in my childhood I was NOT a fan of Timmy crying and simping over Trixie
The whole ignoring someone to get them to like you is a very messed up lesson, I get the idea of making someone work for your attention but it shouldn't be to the extreme of acting like you don't care
It's crazy that with 294 episodes the show only really explored this fan-favourite topic in 3-4 episodes. And especially with Butch always saying the show got stale after some seasons i just don't understand why adding new characters felt like a good choice to the writers. If you want something fresh give the characters that we already care about some development. Timmy and Trixie could have had a good arch together if the writers allowed her to grow.
1. To be a bit blunt, I thought this video was going to be more. It was really just a summarization of Emotion Commotion. 2. While Trixie has her problems (and I rank her third in terms of potential Timmy ships, behind Tootie and Veronica), she has shown potential for growth at times. 3. I think ANW would be a golden opportunity to give her a happy ending, while not necessarily tying her to Timmy.
3:23 See that? That explains why Veronica is the least popular of her friend group in one simple sentence. Pool incident aside, what high-ranking student would willingly make fun of someone worse off than they are for doing something that is a societal expectation? Even she herself knows how bad it was, given her rapidly deteriorating laughter afterwards. …Maybe Veronica was a bad fit for the popular crowd and could’ve been written in a stronger way 🤔
"Medaka Kuroiwa Is Impervious to My Charms" is borderline this episode as an anime with Trixie Tang as the protagonist and "Timmy" hasn't lost his emotions, but is desperately trying to practice abstinence because he wants to be a monk.
Honestly, considering how every single time the show TRIES to make them a couple, by the end of each episode they do so, it feels like it was all for nothing. Which is the main reason why I don’t ship Timmy x Trixie (or even Timmy x Tootie). I can’t believe I’m saying this, but CHLOE was a far better girl to Timmy in comparison to his two other so-called “love interests”. I mean, would you REALLY want to have a girlfriend who comes off like a rich jackass who constantly rejects you or another one who comes off like more of a creepy staker who can't take a hint he is not into you? Yeah, that’s exactly what I thought.
The thing is taht the reason it's "all for nothing" is because the series refuses to allow actual character development. Fairly odd parents was one of those shows written episodically with the goal of being viewable in any order. So whenever it happened to be on you could watch it without needing to catch up on missed episodes. As a result the status quo was NEVER allowed to actually change meaningfully. Later seasons tried to finally spice things up ... but instead of allowing old characters to actually develop they just threw in new ones and abandoned old ones instead ... which is when people rapidly stopped caring about the show.
I agree. If the writing involving Chloe in the show was better to include her in Timmy's circle of friends and secret I think Chloe would've been the perfect girl for him growing up. I forgot about Missy as she was in ONE episode. But, Chloe was one girl Timmy had a mostly normal and healthy relationship with.
It makes no sense to screech about Tootie then say Chloe was the better love interest. Chloe was literally just a reskinned, less funny version of Tootie.
If Trixy ever shows up in "A New Wish" I hope they show She's finally grown up and just imbraces her tomboy side. Maybe even have her own a comic shop.
He’s obsessed with her and he can’t control it and she is out of his league. The episode gives us the glimpse of what happens when popular girls don’t get attention.
They did INTEND for it to be ambiguous, but you're right, most people just seem to think its just Tootie anyway, her traits are more dominant on the surface, and she played a major role in the movie while Trixie was absent.
I wish Nickelodeon went with Trixie being a tomboy and not the shallow insane popular girl because then she would have actually been a great character. She is my second favorite of the show and the Timmy and Trixie dynamic could have worked out in my opinion wether it was a romantic or platonic, I just wanted Trixie to have more development and have real proper friends like Timmy and his pals.
Oh man. This episode was just really disappointing. It felt like Trixie was gonna change as the episodes went on. They could have made it work. But this episode right here, it just demolishes everything and makes her completely dislikable. Timmy got what he wanted but at what cost.
Because of the inconsistency with this show, and how they keep things the same for the status quo, I knew nothing was gonna happen between Timmy and Trixie. So I didn’t care for the ship.
Same can also be said with that one episode where crocker ditches capturing fairies in favor of leprechauns. Because the fact this show just LOVES its status quo, that episode felt like it was all for nothing, even crocker flat-out admitted it at the end. Edit: or the episode where it seemed like Vicky was going to be nice to Timmy at the end of the snow-monster episode, only for it to ALSO be all for nothing by the very end.
OMG this episode! 🙄🤦♂️And Just the Two of Us made me hate Trixie, but Emotion Commotion completely ruined their relationship! Honestly Timmy works better with Tootie quite frankly. Tootie may be creepy and annoying, but at least she supports and cares about Timmy much better. Trixie on the other hand? Just... no! Trixie is a crazy psychopath in this goddamn episode! I'm absolutely serious! Trixie and Timmy should never work as a couple at all!
I think Timmy works best with Missy (Timmy's third love interest) she is not annoying and has a healthy relationship with Timmy, she also reciprocates Timmy's feelings, unfortunately she only appeared in one episode (Finding Emo from season nine, a one of the few good episodes this season)

Sonic had Amy
Nigel from KND had ... whatever he name was.
and there are others that I know exist but I can't remember the names of right now.
I don't think it was even a popular Trope. Writers just thought it was.
Even as a person who likes Timmy and TOotie, I admit her stalking Timmy isn't cute or funny anymore ever since the 6th and 7th seasons. THat being said both Timmy and Tootie had potential
Momo and Okarun from Dandadan is Timmy & Trixie done right:
A boy who no one understands, and the girl who is way out of his league. And yet, throughout the series, their progression towards each other gets better and better.
@michaelstrong5383 the difference is that Momo and Okarun are allowed to progress with their lives and not be hindered by needs of constant reruns
I wouldn't say this is done wrong. I don't think the FOP writers intended Timmy to be with Trxie. Dandadan is a fantastic show. I love Momo and Okarun's relationship.
Huh, I never thought of that.
The show is episodic. They aren't supposed to change.
Wait a dam minute Tad.... Chad........ This show was ahead of it's time and teaching us as kids the reality of life while entertaining us and we never even knew it 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
The best part about Trixie is her voice actress and the worst part about her Trixie is her never ending need to be popular.
10:53 wanda forgets that fairies can't die =_=
Timmy and Trixie would have had a toxic relationship.
Trixie :NOW TELL ME IM PREETY !!!😡 trixie was a red flag in my opinion , I’m glad he ended up with Totie at least in the movie universe
Trixie was toxic and narcissistic as heck. I'm glad he chose tootie
Honestly, she’s just not the girl for Timmy. If she can’t accept him for him, she’s not the one for him
I would like to point this out.
I always thought Timmy and Tootie would be better together. Tootie just needed to be less creepy.
@gontsuk5754 that's harsh to call Tootie ugly
I thought so for a bit, but then on rewatch...
Nah, she deserved that restraining order in Kung Timmy in the later seasons. She was fine at the start, but then she admitted to stalking Timmy at night.
@PolarityOfNeoSoulCity that was only because writers screwed her over about the restraining order was only in one episode as a gag
I saw a theory on Reddit that the first 5 seasons and the following five seasons (the seasons with Poof, Spark and Chloe) and the Live Action films are set in parallel universes caused by Poof
the first five seasons take place in a timeline where Timmy never wanted Poof and ended on Channel Chanse with adult Timmy
In the last five seasons we have a universe where Timmy wished for Poof who basically changed the Timeline with his fart (It's not a joke, this actually happened in the premiere episode) causing the continuity to be altered (Croker never had Cosmo and Wanda Since his fairy godparents and Timmy were not to blame for his loss, the Rules were changed because now normal people can know about the existence of fairies and magic as long as they don't know who the fairies belong to, Crocker now knows about existence of fairies because his strong belief is the source of magic and because of this he can know that Timmy has magical godparents), it is also in this timeline that we will follow The New Wish. And to a third timeline which are the Live Action films in which Timmy refuses to grow up and stays with Cosmo and Wanda in adulthood
@@gontsuk5754 But let Sleeper Dogs Lie from season 9 said Crocker had Cosmo, Wanda, and Sparky.
Kyle norty did a kids are Smarter than this on it you should check it out
I thought Missy just came outta nowhere and wasn't that well developed, think they would've been better off just bringing Veronica back if they wanted a blonde love interest
@@billybarnett9518 I disagree. Whats wrong with her being a one off? Veronica's personality is very different from Missy's it would be jarring if she said. "I like you for you Timmy." It's about time Timmy moved on and crushed on other girls.
Nonchalant Timmy just had too much aura
5:13 Correct, Jay. A *teacher* humiliating his own *student* for being naked and showing his shame in front of his classmates is absolutely horrid. "PUT THIS MAN UNDERNEATH THE JAIL!" Yes!
Trixie says she's only interested in popular kids and keeps bragging about it so her showing her true interest would leave her humiliated
Simple answer
It was NEVER gonna happened since everything just resets after an episode. And not gonna lie as huge as this show was in my childhood I was NOT a fan of Timmy crying and simping over Trixie
Ah I miss when Timmy was surrounded by a school social group
Emotion Commition is one of the funniest episodes ever. Thank you for reviewing this episode.
well I didn't love how Timmy gets discriminated after Francis forced him to jump down the public pool and losing his trunks.
Trixie’s entire character was wasted potential
The whole ignoring someone to get them to like you is a very messed up lesson, I get the idea of making someone work for your attention but it shouldn't be to the extreme of acting like you don't care
That wasn't a lesson. Trixie was just being toxic.
@icecreamhero2375 Clarify I'm not talking about Trixe I'm just talking about the concept in general.
5:35 Honestly, yeah. Pretty creepy on Crocker's part. Also, yes would love a video reviewing class clown!
I could've seen them being great friends
"You're weird! WEIRD! GET AWAY FROM ME YOU FREAK!!"
Funniest moment in that whole episode.
3:23
See that?
She's tall and he's short, that's why it would never work 😂
Honestly, considering how every single time the show TRIES to make them a couple, by the end of each episode they do so, it feels like it was all for nothing.
@@metazoxan2that’s what I’m saying (kinda)
There is another episode when Timmy becomes emo and has no emotions.and there is a one time character he had a crush on 😻.
He’s obsessed with her and he can’t control it and she is out of his league. The episode gives us the glimpse of what happens when popular girls don’t get attention.
The only problem is Butch Hartman's allergy to plot progression and character development
If Dipper/Pacifica can work, I see no reason why this can't
Why on Earth would anyone interpret that daughter as anything other than Tootie’s? It was not subtle.
I reckon it could be Trixie becomes her teacher at school and Tammy inherits her old headband.
They did INTEND for it to be ambiguous, but you're right, most people just seem to think its just Tootie anyway, her traits are more dominant on the surface, and she played a major role in the movie while Trixie was absent.
6:20 Best Pixar movie ever
The ship could work if the screenwriters knew how to do it, that wasn't their focus anyways so it was doomed to fail
@@gontsuk5754Oh yeah. I mean IRYO on Finding Emo, but tbh it's just a mediocre run of the mill episode, it wasn't bad though. But yeah Missy was one of the decent things about that episode. Missy was all right.
@@gontsuk5754 Missy was trash. Just like her episode. Just like everything you've posted on your channel. Just like your personality, person who calls small children ugly.
I been wondering why I haven't see Trixie since poof ?
Poof was introduced in the sixth season and Trixie stopped appearing after the seventh season (good thing because I didn't like Trixie or Tootie)
@@gontsuk5754 Dionne Quan retired voicing Trixie Tang in 2011 which is why her character stops speaking after the episode "Cosmo Rules" and is reduced to non-speaking appearances in seasons 8-10.
Love your video and keep up the great work you are awesome
i honestly never understood why some people think that timmy and trixie could ever be a good relationship, even the show itself shows reasons it wouldn't work.
also unrelated but related i kind of want to know what tad and chad would be up too in the new wish timeline as adults
idk just curious
It was a real bummer that Trixie was absent in the latter seasons....
5:44 honestly ur brains can be strong enough to decide the better whishes, that won't kill anyone, wouldn't cause any catastrophe, and wouldn't cause the loosing of the feries
@@KapustaNicholai and obviously da rules won’t allow harm to follow anyone involved with those wishes
@@matthew_natividad they the book rule were supposed to not a llow christmas everyday, but but it happend only after Timmy made that wish, then Cosmo and Wanda granted, until the seasonal spirits and Ms Claus will hatetred Timmy despite that he really didn't meant anything bad
Are we going to ignore the fact that Trixe became an escort in one episode and literally was sitting on a mountain of money?
Also My Life As A Teenage Robot had a whole episode where a group of teenage girls dated nerds for money.
What was Nickeldon thinking, so male pregnancy and escorting are ok.

Chris Hanson: Mr. Crocker we have to talk
How does Tammy look in any way like Trixie? She's basically a carbon copy of Tootie, but with Timmy's hair color and a different hairstyle. The only "evidence" that her mom might be Trixie is... they both wear a pink hairband, as if headbands are a genetic thing passed down? Seriously, what? Plus, think about it, do you really want Timmy to end up with some so spoiled, self-centered, needy, attention seeking, and shallow as Trixie over someone like Tootie, who loves him for who he is no matter what?
I forgot to give him back his common sense
I always believe that Timmy and Chole were the best.
same,I'll never understand the hate towards chloe, people been begging for a girl character for years and the same people that's been begging for a girl are hating on her for the dumbest reasons,I saw 0 issues with chloe, she;s one of my favorite characters
@@eeveefennecfox She was a ratings trap in a desperate attemp to make Fairly Oddparents stay a float and failed
I also like Chloe, the idea for her character was good, the problem is that it was poorly executed (and it doesn't help that the Tenth season is a bad season)
No existe el conejo de pascua no existe el hada de los dientes y no existe cloe

this makes me think that tootie will be the only person who is actually legit nice to timmy even though she had a restraining order against her
Chloe: they literally share faires might aswell be together as a couple
I always thought that Trixie would've been a much better match for Remy Buxaplenty in my opinion.
what i can get from all this is Timmy romance should be with Veronica and that's it.
Would have been an interesting angle but they kida just tossed Veronica aside.
In other words, a girl who demeans you and stalks you is better than a girl who only does one of those things, or a girl who does neither.

If Timmy ends up with Trixie, he is going to lose his godparents. That is why he does not need her at all!
Random Thought
This video reminds about Lance from symbiotic titans and how I think he is the most clichie teenage girl dream guy I've seen in a cartoon.
The guy who doesn’t care, is always series, works out, gets into trouble, and has a sad backstory.
He's a good character, but I just hate how guys like him are seen by teenage girls as an ideal.
For a second I thought this was a reupload lol. I've always accepted that just like Timmy becoming a giga chad, I figured he came around to Tootie at the end of channel chasers.

Would've imagine if Stewie Griffin made his appearance in this, he would straight do the same thing as he did to every Bart's enemies.
True that.
Timmy Turner walked so Kusuo Saiki could run. LOL
Also something i would have loved in the new fairly odd parents show the brought back Trixie but as blind because her voice actress is blind in real life
We need a new girl for Timmy, there I said it.
I think this relationship was never gonna happen the moment that broke the camels back was when Timmy turner wished that only him and Trixie were the only people on Earth that would have made me so angry I don’t want to talk to him anymore if I was in Trixies shoes. All the other times I would have rejected Timmy would have been done in a gentle and respectful way but in that moment enough is enough and I would have told him that what you done was irresponsible and reckless you endangered all our life’s for a relationship that is illegal and you did not consider my feelings when you did it.
To be fair when Timmy dress like a girl he saw they have a in common
