Hey just found your channel. Kind of new to overlanding just wondering if you had any issues with that trigger unit. I just found out about them today and they seem ideal for the price, but wasn’t what others experiences were with them
@@Overlandtravel_adventures oh perfect I’ll definitely invest in that to start. Saves me from trying to run 20 wires through the firewall. Thank you for the response and the great content!
So about the Diode Dynamics lights. I’ve been wondering how you would wire those lights to a switch panel like the switchpro. Because they have a backlight + mainlight. Are you saying you are able to control just the backlight? Can you control the mainlight as well?
So it may not be exactly the perfect or the correct way to wire them but I have both things wired separately. One button for the backlight another for the lights themselves. I have plenty of room on the switch pro so it works for me.
@@ryanskeete I Love them. I have them in sport for my fogs and ditch lights and they are plenty bright for me. Baja designs have higher output but I just didn’t need that abs the price point was right.
I see your petal controller mounted on the side. Maybe it’s about time to find someone in your area to give the taco a tune. Mines getting done next weekend on my 2018 OR M6
Yeah that’s a loaded question. I’ve got so many plans and potential stuff so it’s a possibility but not high on the list at the moment. Definitely something I need to look into in the future.
@@Overlandtravel_adventures I’ve read up a lot about the tune and it is supposed to make a world of difference in drivability on the autos and the manuals. Average price I’ve seen people tuning for has been around $250

Hey! Zero issues at all. I have had switch pro and the trigger. For the price point you can’t beat it.

Nice set up for sure. Ive been looking at how to set up my accessories as well.
I wish I would of went this route from the start but am 100% satisfied with it now!
