It’s very stupid to compare these punitive taxes with countries like USA where cash flow is great and unemployment is almost nonexistent! The amount of money Kenya is asking in taxes, takes most Kenyans a month or more to earn while in the USA people earn the same in hours or within a day!
Point of correction…No motor vehicle license registration done every year in US …It’s done every 2year.. The problem with Kenyan law makers is copy pasting what they cannot implement.
This was a good discussion. I am in total agreement with Gichengo what the country needs is a good leadership transparency and accountability of public finance otherwise we will be stuck in this debt cycle for a very very long time also Ronald is correct on the gap between the leadership and citizens there is no public opinion inclusion we are lonely at the bottom.
Discussion on budget is a waste of time with anybody here, coz Kenyans are dealing with dealers in missions of looting sprees, where is the expenditures index? While practical here is nothing.

Again, the cost of fuel and car sale taxes in the USA are not as exorbitant as the ones in Kenya!
