nope, everything needs to be happen before you get admitted/get an i-20

Now I am preparing to apply some community colleges in CA ( eg. Santa Monica College and De Anza College ) for Computer Science Major. Although those 2 schools are really great, so I can't decide which one to choose. But, you only suggested De Anza College rather than Santa Monica College in the video.
both are almost the same category but yes if your final plan is to go to any of the UCs, De Anza might offer a more easier route

Georgia Tech CS vs UBC CS?
i got into both. @CrazyMedusa please tell which one to choose.
the cost is almost similar. the only diffrence is the GT is a top CS school in US and UBC is in Canada.

@@CrazyMedusa actually my parents say that if we spend 100k on GT then we dont get job security (i mean H1B is not too easy and i might have to come back to india) but if we spend 100k on UBC then we get PR.
i also want to go to GT only. Is there some point you can say that can convince my parents abt going to GT over UBC?
You get a 3 year STEM OPT after graduating, you don't have to worry about H1B right away. Plus looking at the job market, canada doesn't make any sense right now!
