He then tried jainism but it didn't work so he founded his own path. He preached Anathi and Anathma which is against reincarnation and soul. So what mordern Buddhism teaching is a lie. Buddha hated war to the extent that he was ready to sacrifice all pleasure to save his family and people. And he traveled many places to preach love.
