Haha! I know! But the only good 7-11’s in America are in South Florida. You can get good sandwiches pressed on a Cuban press there... the stores in the Midwest SUCK...
Gas stations and convenience stores in Japan are an entirely different thing than they are in America. Convenience store Bento in America would likely give one severe stomach cramps, if the taste didn't make them vomit. So it can be hard wrapping ones head around the idea of this stuff actually being good in Japan.
Japan 7/11 is amazing. I would never eat the stuff they serve at 7/11 in the US. Before I went to Japan, I thought people were exaggerating, but the food is really good and the ingredients quality. Also, note the prices 399 is approximately 3.99 for a box of healthy food.
Much better if you go to a supermarket! They have huge sales before closing, specially on the bentos, yakitoris and other meals. I got to spend only half of my food allowance because I saved a lot from these supermarkets 😁😁😁
You prolly dont care at all but does any of you know of a tool to log back into an instagram account?? I was dumb lost my account password. I appreciate any tips you can give me.
I used to have them near me. It was a normal thing to get a slurpee after school got out. But then they closed and the closest to me is at least a hour drive from me.
Hello from Norway.. I Started watching your channel in September/October, and I must say that I love your videos. I like that you guys say what's on your mind and that your opinions are honest. And I love your content, it is fun to watch and I learn so much about you guys and also Japan. About 1-2 years ago I stared to get passionate about everything in Japan. Culture, the people and the beautiful food. I just wanted to thank you for making this kinds of videos so that people like me can learn more about Japan. And I also want to thank you guys for making me smile and laugh everyday. Hope you guys are doing good wherever you are in Japan right now. Lots of love❤❤❤ - Mariah
I love these videos we can see complete meals like bento, and the eki-ben, too. Individual Japanese foods are interesting, but I find it especially interesting to see how they are put together to form a meal. And they're always so neat and tidy in their boxes.
You guys make me smile! Satoshi especially when he describes the snappy sausage and when he uses the term, “pleasure in the mouth”! Such a cute couple! I’ve enjoyed your videos for a long time! Keep it up! Aloha mai Hawai’i!
Saw three of your videos only, but loved it and both of you too. You both are so polite and good natured people. Also I automatically subscribed. P.S. - I also love your mentioning of your mother in the video. 🙏
Awww Shinichi looks so chily with his sweater and blanket. Stay warm you two. I'm eaving for Japan in 7 days! I'm binge watching your videos to give me ideas of what to try myself as well as all of your Daiso videos ^^ Going to get me some bento making stuff for when I go back to university next year.
Just found your channel and ADDICTED to your channel. LOVE AND I MEAN LOVE the street food and all the cool videos around Japan and different foods we don`t have here in the the US, the Ramen videos were AMAZING and the pringles can you take us into a Japan 7-11 and film this is mindboggling FUN. Thanks guys and Love from New Jersey
Hi from California! I just discovered you guys today and I've been watching your videos and I have to say you guys are so adorable!! I'm really loving these videos. I will be traveling to Japan for the first time in April and I will definitely be hitting up 7-11 for some budget friendly meals now. Thank you for the great information, I can't wait to watch the rest of your videos.
Oh my! all of the Bento Boxes looked delicious, made me so hungry, and so jealous that you can get them at 7 eleven. Thanks guys, love you and see you in the next video!
I'm not as familiar with traditional Japanese foods, so these videos are quite an education! They make me want to travel to Japan and try all this great food:-) Thank you and keep up the great work!
love all those bento! I grew up eating many of those foods- reminds me so much of spending the summers at my baachan and ojiisan. And, I remember my mom making gomoku gohan- I thought it was some concoction she made up!!! Thanks for sharing all the good eats- it made me so excited because I know our family's New Years feast and my favorite Ozoni is coming soon!
I love seeing the supermarkets, they are like the heart of a neighborhood. You can always see so much of the daily influence when you visit a supermarket.
Ohayo Boys!! I’m so happy that you did this bento video! Every single bento you had looked so delicious!! My family and I love bentos’! I’m with you brother Shinichi. My favorite is a makunouchi bento too! I just love the different variety of food(s) that you can find, and bento’s should only be eaten at room temperature. ☺️ Now.... if only I can find a makunouchi bento with sekihan.......I’d be in heaven! I love that you’re sitting on the floor with a blanket on your lap. My fondest memory of spending time in Japan during the fall/winter season, is sitting under a kotatsu, eating yummy mikan and roasted sweet potato-while staying toasty warm. My mom had a new kotatsu in her closet. I was holding onto it for Josh. After my mom passed, Hubby didn’t know what a kotatsu was, so he took it, and he donated it to the Goodwill. I was so maaaaaad!! Thank you for sharing!! I’m going to refer back to your karaage video, and add it to our Oshogatsu table next year! I sooooo love nikujaga! It’s comfort food for sure!! Brother Shinichi, YES please, to another supermarket video!
Oh, my gosh. I am drooling! These bentos look awesome. I honestly cannot say which one that I would like to try first. I want to try them all. Thank you for sharing.
I went to Japan 2 years ago and got hungry at night but already tired to go to restaurant so i bought bento at nearest 7-11, taste really good, discounted when night and they even warm my bento at microwave!!
Just found you two, I love you both. I feel a real connection with Japan when I watch you. Love to see more supermarket or food mart videos. Also traditional venues and festivals♥️♥️ thank you for sharing your part of the world
Supermarket videos are always fun! I would be interested in seeing what spices are common for your supermarkets and, if that exists, what you have in 'International cuisine' aisles.
I love this show. My family is half Japanese in San Diego CA. We travel to japan occasionally but as we live in southern Ca. We go to Mitsuwa in SD to shop. We get many Japanese foods here... fun place to shop lots of 80’s music too. Fun fun fun place to shop in SD. If you are around here... please come to mitsuwa. Or whole convoy st. asian area. Wonderful!
4 March 2019, Palermo, Sicily. After watching dozens of TH-cam videos on Japan I am starting to think that perhaps Japan is the top country of the World where you can find fantastic food in all shapes and colours everywhere and at every hour of the day and night: bentos, sandwiches, ramen, fastfood restaurants, vending machines, standard restaurants, street vendors...And it always looks good and tasty. And probably hygienicallly clen and safe too.
There used to be a Japanese Restaurant not far from where I live that made several kinds of Bento at lunchtime and one you could choose your sushi and for me, it was always the bbq eel. I love eel in any language.
Matthew S We need to call up the headquarters of 7-11 here in the U.S. and tell them to step up and add some good food, even Bento boxes...international food and beverages. I avoid 7-11 stores as much as possible! Lol
I just found you guys. I really like your videos. We will be going on a cruise to Japan in March. I can hardly wait to check out the grocery stores and 7/11. Thank you guys.
Hi Shinichi it's your puertorrican friend Lisandra just saw your video on the 7_11 bento boxes and they look like good cuality food.there use to be 7-11 were ilived in the US but only remain rarely a few. I would love to try japanese bento boxes to compare the flavors. Please make more of the market foods i want to learn more about the japanese culture. Keep making good videos i will keep watching them.
We bought the kara age bento recently when we arrived the first night in Tokyo. Was pretty good. I usually go for a makenouchi bento as well because of the variety.
I miss 7/11 in Japan. Travelling cheap, meant I often had their Bento for lunch or dinner. If we had these type of Bento available here in Australia, they'd probably be at least $15 AUD (1800¥ roughly).
Yes please. Love your shopping reviews, whether it is for food purchased or stores where you can purchase food. Love it. Sinichi, you look cold. Are you alright? Love you guys. Susan from Canada.
Your supermarket series Is superb....I can buy them and pass off as a good Chef to many of my friends.....lol.....please do more so I can make a “good” chef
I wish we had convenient bento boxes like that in Australia. The ones you tried even look great quality even if eaten cold. This was very enjoyable to watch but now I want all of the bento!
Question: Can you buy eki ben outside the Shinkansen station wout having to be on your way on a bullet train? Like u can make a quick stop to buy eki ben at Eki Marche to/from work for lunch/dinner then be on your way? If u can maybe u guys should do a couple of episodes of Shinkansen bento boxes (like your 7/11 food episodes) so you can cover the different variety of bentos and what’s in each box. Just an idea 😊 Love your vids and Hello from Australia.
Love your videos! Hubby and I are heading out to SF Japantown today to have some bento in your honor! Thank you for all your hard work, look forward to all your videos! :D
My wife makes Nikujaga quite often, if I recall correctly they were even taught how to make it in school in Japan. Suddenly I am also hungry for that but more so her home style ginger-soysauce-mirin karaage which her moms recipe.
Love Japanese bento ! Your Makunouchi bento review brought back memories... As I was living in Tokyo and used the subway often, - for the longest time, I thought this was the MARU-NO-UCHI bento named after the RED subway line !!! LOL
"7/11 really knows how to cook rice!". You'll never hear someone say that in America 😆
Haha! I know! But the only good 7-11’s in America are in South Florida. You can get good sandwiches pressed on a Cuban press there... the stores in the Midwest SUCK...
Best food i ever had came from 7-11in kujukuri. We had coffee and Japanese spaghetti in kujukuri . I was so amazed how good 711 was in japan.
Gas stations and convenience stores in Japan are an entirely different thing than they are in America.
Convenience store Bento in America would likely give one severe stomach cramps, if the taste didn't make them vomit. So it can be hard wrapping ones head around the idea of this stuff actually being good in Japan.
What about Hawaii though? Or are just talking about mainland
Japan 7/11 is amazing. I would never eat the stuff they serve at 7/11 in the US. Before I went to Japan, I thought people were exaggerating, but the food is really good and the ingredients quality. Also, note the prices 399 is approximately 3.99 for a box of healthy food.
Me: I want to go to Japan and eat authentic and tasty Japanese food.
Also Me: Arrives in Japan and goes straight to 7/11
Much better if you go to a supermarket!
@Arian Jason instablaster :)
Why, oh why can't we have 7Eleven's in the US, like the ones in Japan and Korea? You are quite fortunate to have great food selections.
That's what I'm wondering!!! I want bentos damn it!
We did. When I was about 6 they started getting rid of them or they become unpopular
We don’t have 7Elevens at all here in the UK
We had 7 eleven’s in Houston in the 1980/1992
I used to have them near me. It was a normal thing to get a slurpee after school got out. But then they closed and the closest to me is at least a hour drive from me.

My dream is to go to Norway!
I love these videos we can see complete meals like bento, and the eki-ben, too. Individual Japanese foods are interesting, but I find it especially interesting to see how they are put together to form a meal. And they're always so neat and tidy in their boxes.
I love going into grocery stores wherever we travel to. Its always cool to see the every day'ness of the country
You're completely right!!!
You guys make me smile! Satoshi especially when he describes the snappy sausage and when he uses the term, “pleasure in the mouth”! Such a cute couple! I’ve enjoyed your videos for a long time! Keep it up! Aloha mai Hawai’i!
Hi, I just started watching them this morning. They're so cool, but are they actually a couple? That would be cool!:{>
@@FridayDay030 yes they are, and they did an interview about homosexuality in Japan actually on another TH-cam channel
Saw three of your videos only, but loved it and both of you too. You both are so polite and good natured people. Also I automatically subscribed.
P.S. - I also love your mentioning of your mother in the video. 🙏
All of those bento looks delicious! You are lucky you can get good bento at 7/11! 👍❤
I'm with you Shinichi- I love lots of variety.
I want Satoshi to narrate my life
Right ?! 😁 I want a Satoshi in my life ..and Shinichi especially his mom she reminds me of my Japanese mom from Nagasaki
I love how you both always seem to be enjoying yourselves during these videos
More supermarket videos please ☺

Tabieats, best thing about bento you do not have to cooked and no washing dishes.
Since you live near by it so great for you
That’s a good point
Oh, my gosh. I am drooling! These bentos look awesome. I honestly cannot say which one that I would like to try first. I want to try them all. Thank you for sharing.
I love bentos!!! Having a little portions of multiple things is such a treat. I wish it was cultural here in the states.
I went to Japan 2 years ago and got hungry at night but already tired to go to restaurant so i bought bento at nearest 7-11, taste really good, discounted when night and they even warm my bento at microwave!!

satoshi speaking english is so adorbs
Hi Shinichi and Satoshi good to see you thanks for sharing this 7-11benton yummie enjoy
7-11 should be sponsoring you two. You always make it sound so delicious and make all of us want to come to Japan just to eat at 7-11!
Supermarket videos are always fun! I would be interested in seeing what spices are common for your supermarkets and, if that exists, what you have in 'International cuisine' aisles.
"7-11 really knows how to cook rice" Not a phrase we Americans would think to say.
Watching some of your older videos, I just love you two!
Just discovered you guys. I'm really loving your content!
I would love to see a video with you guys planning a whole week of restaurants for someone visiting Tokyo. As though you planned our restaurant week.
Wait omg Alaska and Trixie Mattel funko pops!?
OMG I'm not the only one who saw that
Who are they? I noticed them but I have no clue where they are from?
K Anders rupaul's drag race
You can see the flag from RuPaul's Funko Pop behind Alaska.
Every single time I pass by a 7-11 in the US, I get disappointed when I remember “this isn’t Japan”
My two favorite TH-cam guys! Love your videos 💙
I will be in TOkyo in a week and I'm looking forward to trying one of these for lunch one cold winter day.
Me too, but in 3 weeks! Can't wait!

There used to be a Japanese Restaurant not far from where I live that made several kinds of Bento at lunchtime and one you could choose your sushi and for me, it was always the bbq eel. I love eel in any language.
Such a charismatic couple.
I love these comparison videos!!
"Pleasure in my mouth. Pleasure in my mouth." LOL! I love it. You guys make me want to get that garlic chicken bento!
The bentos look so good!! Someday I will come to Japan to enjoy the wonderful culture ♥
Must try them all! Great video, guys. So helpful.
7-11 in the U.S. has been giving us the short end of the stick apparently.
Matthew S We need to call up the headquarters of 7-11 here in the U.S. and tell them to step up and add some good food, even Bento boxes...international food and beverages. I avoid 7-11 stores as much as possible! Lol
I would be willing to go to 7/11 here in the South if they offered food like this.
7:40:adorable. Thank you for being you.
I see that Trixie Mattel and Alaska Thunderfun pop figure in the background 😉😂
Not going to lie, the bento boxes from 7-Eleven saved our hunger so many times in Japan!😍
I just found you guys. I really like your videos. We will be going on a cruise to Japan in March. I can hardly wait to check out the grocery stores and 7/11. Thank you guys.

Food yum....like watching food taste. You both awesome...
It looked so good I ended up ordering a bento box for dinner - now my friend in Cali is drooling :D

It's Maku-no-uchi (幕の内).
These videos are so helpful. I can’t stand fish, so these videos let me see the varieties and dishes I could get when I go to Japan one day.
I miss 7/11 in Japan. Travelling cheap, meant I often had their Bento for lunch or dinner. If we had these type of Bento available here in Australia, they'd probably be at least $15 AUD (1800¥ roughly).
I love these Supermarket videos and I particularly love Bento videos too!
I tried these bentos when I was in Tokyo last week, its delicious!! Man I wish our 7-11 here in the Philippines have these!

They are totally worth the price. 野菜がもう少し入ってるといいですね。🍴☺️
7/11 is hands down my #1 conbini.

I wish we had convenient bento boxes like that in Australia. The ones you tried even look great quality even if eaten cold. This was very enjoyable to watch but now I want all of the bento!

LOL
