I actually screamed, “WHAT?!?!” when you pointed out the custard pudding drink. So happy you chose that one to try because it sounded the most tempting and interesting!
Video idea: apparently, in a remote section of Akihabara station platform 5, there is an area that is full of milk related drinks, most from small dairies in Hokkaido.
I've been waiting for someone to actually take us viewers on a tour of the vending machine's items! Glad it's also done by my favorite food & travel youtubers
Finally a video about vending machines in Japan who explain and show a full range what's in a vending machine, that was really interesting to see what you can choose from. I would go for the soup, specially corn soup, I had some instant-powder-one from a brand in Japan I can't remember but it was sooo delicious *^* thanks for that episode, I like the longer versions with more detail and explaining ^^
Wow, I walked past there yesterday and didn't even look at those vending machines..... now I'm going to have to go back again and buy half of the drinks on offer! Japan is an amazing place, I'm having a wonderful time here 😄😄😄😄
Erin Uber , Hi, Yes this place is stunning and crazy and delicious all at the same time. I'm going back to Shinjuku Tokyo Hands tomorrow so I've collected a stack of 100 yen coins to feed the vending machines and carry off a stack of the drinks the boys reviewed. I love the milk tea and grape soda and peach tea so far...😊😊
Yakult is popular in the UK and is sold in most supermarkets. I was surprised when I learned it was Japanese because it sounds like it is something that comes from Scandinavia. Satoshi, I love onions too. One of my favourite snacks is a fried onion sandwich with lots of black pepper and ketchup or HP sauce on top.
Joanne Gray Yep and it’s much cheaper in Japan too! Not £3 for 7 mini bottles! They even have different branded ones that taste just as good for very cheap. We have a supermarket video on our channel that shows this 😁
I wish we had the wonderful vending machines like Japan!! One of the awesome, unique things about that beautiful place!!❤️✌🏼Thanks guys! My Saturday morning is full with information...thank you!
I really appreciate you improving the content. Better camera shots and angles, better narration, less talking more information, cool & interesting topics, I mean this is some quality content now! Oh, needless to mention, the thumbnails! Absolutely professional and more appealing than ever. Whoever gave you tips on making these improvements, is definitely someone who knows what's right. I'm sure your channel is soon to target more and more subs and viewers. Good luck you guys! You deserve the best. 🌸
I love your videos. You have given me the inspiration to start my own TH-cam channel centered around my passion of travel and food like you. Thank you for the content that you provide and everything that you do!
Also one of my absolute favorite Japan moments was with a vending machine. My buddy and I were in Kyoto and it was miserable weather, we were walking all day, I had to skip breakfast I was so tired and crabby.. and then he presses this warm thing against my face and it was a warm canned Georgia coffee from a nearby machine and it just.. made my day.
I discovered you in Asian boss and I'm soooo happy I did, your videos are very helpful for people who want to travel to Japan and informative in general so thank you so much for the content you're providing us guys, much love ❤ ありがとうございます!🤗
This video was so interesting and useful! Thanks so much guys! We have Yakult in Brazil as well and everyone loves it. The custard pudding one was surprising and all the drinks sounds delicious! Amazing video! Love you guys
I'm so loving your vending machine video. 👍🏼❤️ Whenever I'm in Japan, I always visit your local supermarkets. I especially love the packaging and design of products there; also the vast variety of food items, snacks, etc. Thanks for making these videos!
I think I have seen them all now, I am on a lock-down binge and avoiding the news. These guys are so adorable and sincere! I am not sure how I originally arrived here, but I'm so glad to have made their acquaintance. I may subscribe even i I have seen them all just out o loyalty. I would be glad to have these guys as friends, so low key yet upbeat and enthusiastic.
Hi! That drink you said it tasted like coffee but wasn't caffeinated it's barley water. In the bottle said "cebada" which means barley in Spanish. It's a pretty common drink in the Mediterranean region as it is very refreshing (we usually have it really cold) and good for you health. Also if you don't have dairy products it is a good option for you as it's a plant-based "milk" such as almond milk. Great video as always!
Love your guys' videos! I'm planning to visit Japan myself soon and I'm going to various places you two have recommended over all your videos! Keep up the good work, You two are amazing!
I qwon't buy ''reduced fat'' dairy products, they don't taste right. And considering that at nearly 70 the Cardiologist says that I have the heart of a healthy 30 to 35 year old I guess it has done me no harm.
I love your videos and japanese drink vending machines! Perfect match. I tried so many drinks when I visited Toyko, but there are still sooo many others... Thank you for explaning the more mysterious ones. Love the peach craft tea, too!
Your videos are always so entertaining, and I always learn something new. I had never heard of black sugar before … had to read up on it. Thanks for bringing us along on your adventures!
You have such great vending machines in Japan. All the drinks looks delicious. Great job tabieats on another video. Prayers, much love, and hugs; shinichi glad to see your mom is doing better from your sister's videos.
Look at all the comments guys. I'm so happy for you both and hopefully we can get even more. Being a Patreon is the best thing I every did. This vending machine video was a little different than the others and I liked it a lot. You showed all the choices and told what they are like. Everything about this one is slammin' Brothers. The Satoshi selection looked right up my alley, I do love savory. With my diabetes it's hard for me to drink sweet drinks but if they had one with strawberries I would have to get it. Loved this one Brothers. Until next time. JC
12:40 I live in the shadow of Mt. Rainier... and have NEVER seen this brand. That's incredible! Thank you for the video, I love the detailed explanation of each drink.
In college I lived sometimes for days off campus vending machine food while studying for some of my more difficult classes. This video makes me wish I went to school in Japan! The Japanese are masters of delicious snack food.
Ahhh missed those vending machines :( That part of Shinjuku is great during Christmas season, beautiful lights. Can you make are recipe for the hojicha latte?
I was in Japan during Golden Week 2016, and it was unexpectedly hot! I dragged my sweaty self from vending machine to vending machine to find ‘Green Shower’, a sparkling water drink flavoured with hops. One of the most refreshing things I’ve ever tasted. Hopefully it’s still available!
I miss Craft Boss Coffee. Got it a few times from vending machines when we visited Japan. Vending machines in Japan never fail to amaze me. So many things we can get from there.
I’ve been binging your videos and came across this one! As a native Washingtonian, the Mt Rainier coffee surprised me; we don’t even have that brand here and we take our coffee seriously here! Such a wonderful video, I’d love to try the peach tea, as well as the fruity herbal tea & miso soup!
I think all prepackaged tapioca beverages are disappointing because tapioca balls never have the right texture after sitting in liquid for very long. They end up either hard or mushy or somehow both.
I came to love Sōkenbicha tea in Japan!! Now that I'm back in Germany I really miss drinking it🙁🙁.. and you can't even find it on Amazon.. I loved the vending machines in Japan! Especially the variety in drinks
Those items are actually pretty inexpensive. In Vienna you roughly pay 260 Yen fo a bottle of ice tea or any other soft drink (320 yen for a can of Red Bull!) at a vending machine
12:07 That "Van houten cocoa" is from the Netherlands, it is actually a hot chocolate milk. I have to try it out myself to see if it is the real Dutch variant, but you may as well try it. You should make sure to shake it first before opening it, also it doesn't really matter if it is cold or hot. Hot chocolate milk is rather used in the winter periods while cold is excellent for the summers. 12:48 Not sure about this one, but that pudding thing may be also Dutch in origin called "vla" en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vla If this is true, then it shouldn't be as solid as pudding as it lacks the ingredients for that. You usually eat it cold as desert in modern times. However it was also used as breakfast with hot rice in it. (place white hot rice on your plate, then poor it over with vla and mix it up.) But from how it looks, I have my doubts it actually is vla.
Love this soooo much! I've always wondered what all the different drinks were and I'm still struggling with Japanese so I wasn't confident I'd be able to read them myself when I go next year. I assume that a lot of the things you got were hot, but it looks like you were able to handle them without burning yourselves. Should we be wary of burning ourselves when we go?
Here in Buenos Aires there is a Barrio Chino (Chinatown) that you could actually think of as a pan-asian "main street" or open air mall with tons of stores. Sometimes you'll enter a supermarket-like store with products you recognize by the lettering as Chinese, Japanese, Korean and so on, but they will have just the price without any Spanish marking. I can recognize some of the beverages I see on their aisles and I never dared to try. I'll check them up next time I visit!
Happy to see the South area of Shinjuku again as I was just here 2 weeks ago on my way to Hakone. I also tried the canned corn and adzuki soups for the first time and they were so good. Wnt to try some of these drinks on my next visit to Japan.
What a great vending machine video boys! Everything looked so amazing! I love Yakult! The first time I tried it was when I first visited Japan at the age of 11. To this day, the flavor is so reminiscent of the wonderful time spent with family in Ofuna. The Demi glacé soup and the oshiruko flavored soy drink looked amazing, as did the Hojicha ice milk drink. Thanks for sharing!!
I love these types of videos they’re my favorite. And you two are going to be going to the restroom every twenty minutes for drinking that much liquid 😂😂😂
You guys have THE BEST video ideas!!! Love the extra recommendations in the video 😍
I actually screamed, “WHAT?!?!” when you pointed out the custard pudding drink. So happy you chose that one to try because it sounded the most tempting and interesting!
I love their different styles, Shinichi goes through everything and has comments, while Satoshi is like "I'm here for this, I choose, I pay."
Video idea: apparently, in a remote section of Akihabara station platform 5, there is an area that is full of milk related drinks, most from small dairies in Hokkaido.
That's is a good idea. Definitely want to see that.
I second that
Third! 👌
Satoshi always has something to say about everything, he is a very sweet man.
I've been waiting for someone to actually take us viewers on a tour of the vending machine's items! Glad it's also done by my favorite food & travel youtubers
Jimin's Jinji Haha we all love a vending machine don’t we 😜
@@MillennialTravelConfessions I mean who wouldn't !
I love how they are reviewing everything its really neat to experiance japanese culture like this.
Finally a video about vending machines in Japan who explain and show a full range what's in a vending machine, that was really interesting to see what you can choose from. Hello Kitty I'm so glad you're having a good time in Japan! I hope you get to go back to that location, and try some of the drinks. :-)

I'll go check that out 😉
It's very popular in Brazil, too (it was introduced by Japanese migrants).
I remember when I was back in Japan I loved the corn soup from the vending machines! (and of course their drinks too)
I wish we had the wonderful vending machines like Japan!!
One of the awesome, unique things about that beautiful place!!❤️✌🏼Thanks guys! My Saturday morning is full with information...thank you!
Love what you guys do.
Today, I am going to binge on Tabieats vending machine videos. Love them all

All you have to say is Japanese vending machine & I come running :)
Haha! If that's enough to bring you to Japan, I wonder what you would do when you experience better things Japan has to offer 😜
Love love love the vending machines in Japan! Great episode guys! Thanks!
They are always so conveniently located as well! We should have made a video on this too for our TH-cam channel
i just have to say i love you guys. i just enjoy to see you enjoy food. your reactions are so real. you are great! thank you so much for posting.

I love how you started with dessert ;)
Critical Eats Japan Do you know the saying "Life is short, eat dessert first." :-) I hope you're doing well!
Critical Eats Japan.....I was hoping that brother would try the fondant chocolate cake in a can. He did not disappoint!! 😋

I see TabiEats and Vending Machine? I click like.
Thank you so much for describing what the drinks are. I love the variety.

I was visiting Japan last summer and one of the biggest joys was to check what each vending machine offers and try them

Great video as always!
Some stations have my favorite Hazelnut Drink. It's a Red/White cup with a straw attached on the side.
*It's to die for*
Thanks so much for the explanation!! I've always wondered why there are 3 rows of the same drinks, now I know it's the temperature
Japan is an amazing place. I can't wait to visit and try all these delicious drinks! You both are gracious hosts!
Wonderful way to end the day. Thank you for the video.
Yakult is very popular in Mexico , and in the US you can find it at some stores. I grew up drinking it

Who would choose the full calorie version? Uhhhh... me?
2 please!
I qwon't buy ''reduced fat'' dairy products, they don't taste right. And considering that at nearly 70 the Cardiologist says that I have the heart of a healthy 30 to 35 year old I guess it has done me no harm.
My first thought was “Why would anyone choose the low fat stuff?”. Low fat stuff always tastes gross.
Yes, let us relish the calories of the fat :D
Anyone who likes flavor.
I would love if you guys did a video about the bookstore!!! Or maybe a book cafe !
"Christmas time is here, spreading joy and fear!"
I always misheard that and it's just more fun that way.
Love love LOVE when you vlog the vending machines, I find them fascinating 😁
I love your videos and japanese drink vending machines! Perfect match. I tried so many drinks when I visited Toyko, but there are still sooo many others... Thank you for explaning the more mysterious ones. Love the peach craft tea, too!

Hooray! I love the vending machine videos. That’s how we found your channel so long ago. Keep being amazing 🧡
Thanks for showing the variety in the machines. Other videos I've seen don't do that.

Happy to see the South area of Shinjuku again as I was just here 2 weeks ago on my way to Hakone. I also tried the canned corn and adzuki soups for the first time and they were so good. Wnt to try some of these drinks on my next visit to Japan.
I think I would love the music clam soup!!😋💕
What a great vending machine video boys! Everything looked so amazing! I love Yakult! The first time I tried it was when I first visited Japan at the age of 11. To this day, the flavor is so reminiscent of the wonderful time spent with family in Ofuna.
The Demi glacé soup and the oshiruko flavored soy drink looked amazing, as did the Hojicha ice milk drink. There was so much to choose from!
Brother Shinichi, there’s a place in SoCal called “Half & Half Tea Express,” where you can get a boba/milk pudding drink, that I think you’d really like! Thanks for sharing!!
Enjoying a nice bowl of shoyu tonkotsu ramen while watching this 😁👌🏾
Love this video! Makes me jealous we don't have good vending machines where I live, but probably a good thing because I'd spend too much money!
I love these types of videos they’re my favorite. And you two are going to be going to the restroom every twenty minutes for drinking that much liquid 😂😂😂
