I was there. I saw them 4 times that tour, and then Live Aid. Not seen them since, not the same without Alan L.

This was also my first Quo gig... then I saw them at their 'final' gig at Milton Keynes. Then I saw them at Knebworth supporting Queen (I left before Queen came on). I've not seen them since, but they will always be special to me.

@@darrenphillips6456 You are right they were bottled off! It was Little Steven and the Disciple of Soul, Little Steven being Steve Van Zandt better know as being a member of Brice Springsteens East Street Band.
I remember Chas & Dave doing the song 'Bollocks' much to the merriment of the audience 🙂
And as if the bands that day weren't enough there was the entertainment of the streaker on the roof of the stage.

I was there. Thin Lizzy being bombarded with beer bottles. It was raining and Rossi said we're going to get electrocuted but sod it. Shame him and Rick then proceeded to destroy their memory with a pile of crappy music for the next 30+ years. Their back catalogue from 1964 to 1984 stands the test of time though. They played in my dad's barn in 1970 when Down the Dustpipe was in the charts. Played footie with them in the afternoon and Mum did tea for them. Happy days.
