Its been a week now, and I have been exploring the dataset. Please, I was wondering how this could actually be connected to pose estimation and Neural Scene representation for volumetric capture.
This work does not address neural scene representation or volumetric capture. The sole goal here is to take a posed body (SMPL, STAR, etc.) and estimate the bones inside -- both the bone lengths and their pose. Right now there is no connection to pose estimation.
@@MichaelBlackMPI Thank you for your clarification. I was trying to find connections for which there is currently none explicitly. It is still a very relevant work though, for which I applaud.
