I had a Sportsman 247 bay that was totaled during a storm. My dealer now carries Sea Pro and I am thinking of getting the 248 like yours in shark gray with the Suzuki 300 or 350. Not only do I like the Sea Pro bay boat but I like the dealer being good to work with and very helpful. I done a sea trial on a 248 with yamaha 300 and loved it. I had Suzuki on a previous boat, pretty much bullet proof so I would like to have another Suzuki. I prefer the Simrad electronics over the garmin factory installed on the Sportsman. The only real con I can find with the Sea Pro is access to bilge versus the Sportsman where everything is readily accessible. What con's, if any, have you found with your boat?
I’ve had no issues with mine other than a recall for the Suzuki 350 shaft seal which was free of charge and easy. Absolutely love this boat. Sportsman is owned by the Sea Pro owners brother so you’ll see clear similarities between the two. IMO no one matches the 248 quality and price combo
@@jamesjr1987 _ Crazy how the boat business brothers go separate ways, but several have done it. The Sportsman is a quality built boat but the Sea pro is a deal as a package with the standard features, especially the power assist steering.
