Just bought one. Dealer tried to sell me "technology protection" because (they said) Toyota hasn't done a good job with things like the touchscreen. I didn't buy it, but thought I'd comment on that anyway. Great video!
New isn't better anymore, this is a perfect SUV with an extremely reliable engine and transmission. It may be a little boring, but 10 years from now people will be dying for a chance to purchase this vehicle. The new 4 cylidner turbo is total garbage.
@@cruzinthruspace turbos' fail, cost thousands to replace, turbo'd engine has insane carbon build-up in the intake manifold, valves and cylinder head, a turbo'd engine creates extreme pressure and temps with age an engine prematurally. And the newly designed engines have very poor engineering, that is a fact, such as cylinder walls so thin that the gasket will fail. And now the question, why? What does the consumer gain? @@AlShams69 I just bought one, got it with the sunroof and wish I didn't It makes the headroom shocking low, otherwise its an amazing vehicle, rock solid
I just ordered mine and my buddy said it comes in tomorrow. I’m beyond excited. I wanted to make sure to secure the v6 before 6th gen. Couldn’t be anymore happy and as I said… excited 😂 🎉
Yeah we'll have to see. Overall I love the new look inside and out on the 2025. Hopefully their new turbo engines can be as robust as these old school V6 engines. We'll see how the Tacoma does this year, and that should help work out any kinks for the 4runner when it's available
This old school 4runner is truly inspirational. Its sad and worrisome that Toyota is destroying its brand in real time to please environmental radicals.

Oh wow lol. Yeah I don't buy any of the dealer add ons. It's all a money make for them and next useless to actually have
@@BrosFOURRSpeedlol exactly! We just got ours and we decline me everything but gap
Still nice rigs. Probably will last long enough, to pass on to your kids. Not the fanciest SUV, however, they are still a wise investment. ✌️💙✌️
Very true!

Yeah we'll have to see. The new 2025 looks amazing tho! Excited for it. But I'm sure the previous generation will still hold value
What's bad about the 4 cylinder? It hasn't even been out that long for you to say that lol

Enjoy it!
I love the fact that is old school
Yeah nice to see! New 2025 is pretty sweet tho!
Love my 2017 SR5 Premium RWD. Will definitely make it through the apocalypse.
Until you need 4wd…
Nice!
lol, any suv or truck I buy always have 4wd!
This is the last true toyota
How so?
Thanks for this very detailed video.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I'm just wondering how the new 25 Turbo will hold up....I dunno....I got doubts for some reason.

@@BrosFOURRSpeed eventually they are going to burn out, I'm just wondering how long the process will take. lol. Thanks for the reply!
@@skidbootify Yeah I’d assume 100k miles won’t be an issue. But I’m sure after that they might start showing the stress. But we’ll definitely see!
What year did this design start? I know In and out has been almost exactly the same but when did this start? What year?
The 5th generation came out in 2010, 2025 will be the 6th generation.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed thank you brutha .
Love my new 4runner.
It will be my last vehicle on this planet.
It's a cool suv for sure!
What a weird configuration- Premium but no moonroof- is that because it’s only RWD?
That is interesting, I'm not sure.
Considering trading in my 24 Tundra for one of these
Oh cool! Much different vehicle, but a solid SUV!
Do the 2024s come with car play?
I think so depending on trim. Not sure tho

New one does look sweet tho! But yeah stupid regulations are making vehicles less reliable and more expensive unfortunately.
