At the beginning it wasn't the most famous show and they didn't earn enough money for that, but it then blew up and they got better CGI. Amazing to see how it all changed from a small show to a big show earning millions.

ALL these in a few seconds and with JUST his eyes. (and his mere attempt to say something but no words coming out of his mouth as Lucifer just waits Linda's feedback). Richest, best portrayal of vulnerability I've ever seen. I mean he's a great actor anyway but this scene is incredible. Makes you relate and wanna hug him and tell him everything's gonna be ok.
There's something just deeply satisfying about number 3. The tone and pacing of the scene is so perfect. All the humans know something is wrong, but not what. Even the girl with the gun hesitates, knowing something's not right. But then the shock when its just, so much worse than expected.
If you haven’t seen the show the meaning behind why he looks that way is very deep. I can’t believe it took me so long to fall in love with this series.

(I'm not religious at all and not find of monotheistic dichotomy between good and evil, but love the philosophy and storytelling)

Maybe it is a mirror of all of their evils which may explain why Chloe and Linda weren't so adversely freaked out when compared to their more criminal counterparts. Kinda reminds me of Ghost Rider's penance stare. We all have sins, in one form or another. those who at least attempt a clean life would be least affected.

He obviously uses different looks for different effects. That's not his real face.. it's like his uniform. Supposedly when Samiel was in heaven before the revolt his angel face was the one we know. Then after he was in Hell he uses his magic to create the different demon faces he employs

When I did my rewatch of the show bc I knew the truth that angles controls what happened to them I think the small differences between his devil faces is showed he was becoming a tiny bit more like the humans depicted him as but without the horns but at times more like his old self
They did. Part A of Season 5 was when Dan found out about Lucifer when he was entertaining Charlie. On Part B, it's when Lucifer beat up the people who smacked God.
