I noticed that you didn't cover the T1 and T2 torpedo defense in either this or the stationary defenses video. Are they all basically the same? Are they worth it? (Also, you didn't mention the Tempest's submersibility or factory capabilities, but I suppose most players can figure those out on their own.)
The EMP Flux warhead (Cybran nuke) is different in that it also stuns all units that it damages (which survive). At least in vanilla Forged Alliance it works like that. Which is relevant for strat subs since their outer ring damage is rather low and doesn't kill many units.
I'm pretty sure if you look it up it also says that the emp effect is wider than the blast radius. I don't know how much, all I know is that means even stuff that would normally be untouched is vulnerable for a bit.
another thing i found with cybran cruisers is the range on their anti air gun when firing at land units actually goes a considerable distance further than their range meaning if you ground fire them at the area in front a shield they will hit it even when out of range. handy against bulwharks
1) Only mass sufficient counter to torp bombers are shards(need a bunch of them) and aircraft carriers. 2) Seraphim cruiser is the only cruiser, that can counter mass sufficient amount of Walers or Broad swords. 3) Cybran t2 subs need to reach critical mass of them to win seraphim destroyer, in small amounts destroyer is better. Trading ability to kill mexes and become even more vulnerable to t2 hover tanks is practicly a suicide on some maps. 4) You again forgot to mention megalith being able to build bricks underwater.
1) I didn't test for shards, that's good to know 2) the other cruiser win against T3 gunship, you just need proper micro. (split them, use range at maximum)
Am I the only one that thinks the Atlantis is underrated? 400 DPS torpedoes and awesome AA while being relatively cheap to build. I've always found them to be really effective and I don't get why they aren't used more by UEF players. Plus you can build a T2 torp bomber in like 7 seconds and release a hornets nest if your navy needs help.
You forgot to mention Sparky of UEF. Can repair BS or BC if really needed and has Radar Jamming as well. Lastly I feel that Cybran T3 AA should be made hover so as to give them atleast one land unit that is atleast somewhat viable on sea.
aeon cruiser + T2 mobile shield is insane against solace sera cruiser + T3 mobile shield does the trick too (even if it's less good) (it's not only uef that can defend it well) don't negligeate subs torpedo defense, they do fairly well. About flare : flare kills ally torpedo, so you don't want to stack your cybran destro/T2 subs/mermaid with ally's unit. better build T3 cybran sonar than stealth boat. (less mass needed, more sonar and radar stealth) even if you lose some anti torp. The sonar stealth of the T3 cybran sonar is way bigger than the radar stealth. aeon bs is fast enough do be able to dodge all uef bs shot. You need super high micro skill though. Aeon bs is un-dodgeable. all bs can dodge 30-40% of cybran bs, by just doing the "going circle" micro.
cybran and uef torp defense work like aeon tmd, they attract any amount of torps at short range. sera and aeon get projectiles like normal tmd that have longer range and only get one torp per projectile, possibly 2 projectiles
aoen bs tmd 3 bubbles dragging alot of stuff out of the air helped me alot in a siege of a arty, shield, tmd and tml heavy base the tempest did deliver the punch through the tmd allowing the missel ship to clean up
I can’t get the Siren Cruiser’s air staging ability to work. Nothing refuels on them even when they’re completely dry, they’d rather redirect to a carrier miles away. I can’t figure it out, even t1 scouts won’t refuel there.

How do you fight Seph as UEF? Their torp units murder me. I build Coopers but destroyers just surface, annihilate them, and submerge. Then the destroyers and the T3 subs finish the navy off.
Build Atlantis. They actually cost less than a battleship, and have significantly longer range than t3 sub. Your lay game navy should be Atlantis and battleships, forget destroyers in favor of battle cruisers, and build lots of shields and a fair amount of coopers
just saing... Sera t1 sub torpedo defence act just like TMD, it will shoot and kill one of enemy torpedo and then recharge... for 20 seconds... so if you wait 2-3 times for it to recharge... then it may pay for itself
you have to leave attack range to recharge... also if you have many of them they will releace whole load of torp def on single torpedo, with makes them really, really bad but it is funny some times how you may attack t1 torp PD with 4-5 of them and kill all or almost all torpedos that it shoot at 1rst pass... also i did some nice testing/trainig with SC-account... and looks like Sera and Aeon destros are best... and cybran is worst in most cases, witch can be not true in real game and depending on micro... btw nice tutorial, i didn't know about aircraft carriers and sera t2 sonar and some other stuff

You forgot to mention that all cruisers have TMD. Also only Cybran air carrier has TMD. All battleships except cybran has TMD.

Cybran seems fine without that because it uno reverses with a sea unit that is viable on the land.
The Tempest can produce T1 and T2 navy by the way..
