There are other rare colors. These were the 3 I had photos. Share your Quaker Parrot with us!

I had a pair of quaker parrots when I was a child, we raised them since they were babies, they were like my siblings with how we grew up together 💕💕
I miss them so much, my estranged brother stole them when we moved to a new house

Hi! I just wanted to comment on what you said about the Lutino at 0:36, namely "This is a Quaker that doesn't have the blue". That's only half true. Feather colour genes actually work really funny in parrots, for starters the blue is actually a recessive autosomal gene variant of the green. So in order to get a blue Quaker, they need two copies of that "blue" gene. Two visually green Quakers have a 25% chance of getting a blue baby if they're both "split" for blue, so both parents having one copy of the "green" gene and one of the "blue".
Lutino is a different type of mutation, in the sense that it's not autosomal but X-chromosome linked. They're in fact closer to the albino. If you look closely at your lutino and albino Quakers, you'll see that both have red eyes. I might be wrong on this, but I thought the albino was basically the lutino variant of the "blue" series, and the lutino is the green series' albino.
So yes - it is a lack of blue pigment for both the lutino and the albino, but genetically it's got nothing to do with blue and yellow making green. Hope you didn't mind this here, there's actually still a lot of mutations that I do not know the details of but since you posted about mutations, I thought you'd maybe find it interesting too!

Thank you. I was just trying to be basic for pet owners. Mutations are really complex in birds and very complicated:). Most people just get them based on the color and no anything else :)
