Chris thank you so much for bringing us on a tour of such a nice store in Hawaii. I wish we had a store like this in Chgo but the Japanese population is small. The closest Japanese store in the Chgo area is Mitsuwa but is a 45-minute drive to the suburbs. Thanks for all the hard work that you put into your video's. Happy Holidays to you & your beautiful Family. 💗💗🎅🎅
Hi Chris. Love this store. Great place to shop for Japanese goods. The food selection is also fabulous. Happy that it's open 24 hrs. Thanks for sharing and take care.
Most underrated tourist spot in Honolulu. You can even walk there from the Ala Moana Hotel.Endless 24/7 shopping.Honolulu sometimes feels like you are in a small Japanese city like Naha,Okinawa.
This video was so fun to watch! I can’t wait to check out this grocery store and a few restaurants that you mentioned. I can just feel the warm Hawaii trade winds…thanks for bringing us along❤
Love that they have Don Q in the USA. I have been to Daiso in the USA and really liked the drinks, snacks and other items. I can't wait to visit Hawaii and will definitely go to Don Q as well as other places you have recommended.
I grew up near there and store was once called Holiday Mart and got lots of memory there. Hope they stay up foat as condos is popping everywhere and probably where I grew up.
I can tell you Exactly how the curry pancakes tasted! More like a mild kick/slow burn than a really spicy experience…just a nice mild, very interesting experience (was really glad we were in a 2 bedroom villa at Aulani on our one trip to Hawaii in May ‘22 because I made VERY good use of the kitchen….Don Quixote was Pricey but had SUCH great quality food!)
Fun Fact: In Japan, Bruno Mars did a CM, and all he does is dance while saying "Donki Ikuyo" (I'm going to Donki) over and over and over in an infinite loop. It's funny after the first 10 times, but after a thousand times, it surpasses irritating.
Uhm... are you posting this now because of what happened in that store yesterday? (Nothing wrong with that, just kind of a weird coincidence otherwise)

I love the 24 hours too... doesn't matter what time I land at HNL... I can always pick up supplies at Don Quijote! :)

Lol, it tells your age. Remember Liberty House? Wisteria? Woolworth? 😅
Great video Chris. Thanks to your recommendation me and my wife checked out this wonderful spot as soon as we landed in Honolulu!
Awesome Todd!

thank you for sharing nice video. 👍👍👍👍👍
You are awesome 😎
Thanks maddog!
Don’t go inside Don Quijote if you’re hungry.😂
5:13 is that real Bonsai.
The egg prices - thats about the same as we pay in Oz $10.50 AAUD = $6.52USD
Didn't you do this already 🤔
I do have a tour of this store from 2020. But since that was pandemic time and lots of things have changed i thought it was worth an update
Love that store! That is a good location but parking can be nuts 😜 So nice to see that you come here to Oahu, HI. Aloha 🌺
Are the grapes $35 like in Japan 😂
If the grapes are from Japan then yes they are :)
Japan rip off much more than others.

I saw the commercial at the Don Quijote at Haneda Airport a few weeks ago 😀

Just a weird coincidence.. I recorded this a few weeks ago. Just had some other videos to get out before it
