- Two weeks is a long time to wait until test day and Sadge is getting LOTS of symptoms following our IVF cycle. We are making the most of where we are - Larnaca in Cyprus. Exploring the beaches and taking in the sun. Lots of nutritious food, keeping well, fingers crossed.

For those of you who don't know, this is our story - A few years ago we began trying for a baby and unfortunately it didn't take long to realise that wasn't going to happen for us the natural way. Back in 2019 we started down the path of having our first round of IVF. Sadly this didn't work and unable to get any further funding on the NHS we flew to the Czech Republic for a self funded ICSI IVF cycle. This was an absolute disaster from start to finish!
Next we went to Miracle Hospital Cyprus where Sadge had success and she fell pregnant. Very sadly she had a miscarriage and we lost the baby. Words cannot describe how this feels and it was in part this trauma that led us to van life and alternative living.
It's now 2022 and we have decided to come back and carry on where we left off...
Who Are We?
We're Alan and Sadge, a couple from the UK living full time in our converted van Apollo. We are currently in Cyprus trying to make a baby.

I'm so pleased for you, but can imagine it's a hugely emotional time, will be hoping all stays well for you this time. Hope you can enjoy some van life in the meantime... Oh and we have friends with twin boys (they are now 5) who lived in a van for 6 months full time when they were only small and loved it! They toured Europe, the boys ate everything going and had a magical life. Bit bigger van than your though 😁 they were IVF babies too. X
