Those who have never been through IVF don't know the struggle and pain and hope to one day have a baby. I am glad this lady got her beautiful child. A true warrior!

I’m concerned about timing and the toll this whole process can take relating to employment. It seems so involved so how is this possible for a full-time working woman? 😢

HR should be there to support you
Apply for Intermittent FMLA for your appointments during the week and a few days off for egg retrieval day. It’s definitely for job security and peace of mind ( you don’t have to share your medical info with boss or colleagues) HR only. Hope this helps 🤍

Same here. I got married in 2016 and yet waiting for miracles to happen. We started our journey in Feb 2023. I took follicle stimulation capsules drug and sadly my eggs didn't grow at all. Then, I was prescribed with injections with higher dose, yet only 1 follicle grew. Then the Dr recommended Laparoscopic surgery. I undergo the surgery on 26th May. The surgery went bad with infection. It was painful and traumatizing. Now, I am again on capsule drugs as Dr is quite positive that the drugs will work. I hope it does. We plan for IUI in August,if it fails the IVF will be done in November. May God blessings be upon me. I am using all my savings for this. It will either happen or gone in vein.

She should save for "egg freezing" for her daughter as well as college money. Pretty sure infertility is linked to genetics

I have a question. Why do women want to get pregnant? Pregnancy puts a lot of strain on a woman's body, and it has risks, and a pregnancy lasts 9 months. Also, childbirth is very painful. And also, raising children is very hard.
Personally, I think being childfree would be a lot better than having children, but that's just my opinion.

That’s like me saying ‘why do we continue to live’ we have to feed ourselves all the time, take showers everyday , go to school for 8 hours, we have to endure stress
Does that make life any less worth? Should we just give up?
Whenever theirs negative comes positive as well

      Thank you for such comment.
      You are right indeed.
It all also depends on your own financial, your job. So many factors. Especially for women who wants to achieve a lot of things in her life and in her career.
Any women out there, you don't really have to pity yourself if you don't have children yet. It's not always everything in life.
