I've been on TRT for about 7 months now. Before TRT my lest was at 345. I'm on 850mg a week now my level is around 1100. The clinic I'm going to told me once a week. But I kinda felt energy dropping around 5 days after shot. So I started playing around with the frequency of my shots and found that if I split the dose in 3 doses per week my energy and mental clarity are pretty constant. So 3 times a week seems to be the sweet spot for me. I Findley have the energy to hit the gym and be productive at work ( I'm a maintenance guy in a factory ). The thing that used to bum me out was that I'm friends with the owner of the gym and have a free membership for life and still didn't go. Now I'm back in the gym at least 3 days a week. I'll stick with TRT for as long as It works for me.

Just had my Testosterone checked, it was 516 last year, it's 388 this year. I'm needing a way to get it up to the 600's. I'm 50 and been hitting the gym 3 to 5 days a week for over 6 months. Sleep is my biggest challenge in all honesty. Even when I get to bed early to get 7 to 8 hours, I wake up freaking early. Looking at all my options before going to trt. I'm looking for a good place for trt if I decide to start it.

The problem I've had on TRT is that it dropped my ferritin levels from an already low 60 to 13. Then I started to feel dizzy and then injected more testosterone thinking I wasn't injecting enough. Did blood testing and despite having a 1600 total T and 250 free T, I still felt like crap. So, I started taking iron and the dizziness went away and ferritin started going up to 59. Optimal is around 100ng/mL, but at least the dizziness was better. Only thing is my hematocrit averages around 52% when off the TRT I was around 46%. I even donated blood thinking the hematocrit was the reason for the dizziness, but it made it worse. That is how I knew that ferritin plays a huge role in how someone feels while on TRT or not. So, I stopped taking TRT and see how I will feel once my ferritin increases. My total T off the TRT averaged around 750 which is good for my age 59. However, my free T was only around 100 so that is why I started. Just curious as to where your hematocrit numbers are and do you monitor ferritin levels? Great video!

Thank you for sharing your experience. Managing ferritin and hematocrit levels on TRT can indeed be challenging. One approach that might help is incorporating vitamin C with your iron supplements, as it can enhance iron absorption. Also, consider discussing with your doctor the possibility of lowering your TRT dose slightly, as even small adjustments can sometimes help balance hematocrit levels. Regular hydration and possibly adding a mild blood thinner like fish oil might also be beneficial. Always consult with your doctor for personalized advice. Stay proactive and best of luck on your journey!

I'm actually partnered with a clinic called Core Medical Group - they treat all of my clients (and me) - if you'd like me to send you their free details just drop your info at the bottom of this TRT guide: joshholyfield.com/blogs/news/beginners-guide-to-testosterone-replacement-therapy-trt

I highly suspect Low T and went and had it checked 2 days ago and now waiting on results. I was thinking about starting TRT but I now do not think I will. Too much comes with TRT. I have tried the natural way and it didnt work. Guess I am stuck to feeling like crap for the rest of my life. My previous years of alcohol abuse I think is what caused my testosterone issues. I have now been sober for 1.5 years and still no change. This is a very informative video and I liked it but it has definitely changed my mind as on TRT. I dont want man tits, i dont wanna have to to a pill every day to keep my balls gettinf to the size of grapes….smh
