thanks! I'm sure they will eventually get comfortable enough to come out, especially if you have 5+ of them in a group. When my lights are on 100%, they tend to get a bit shy as well. Thanks for the comment!
Thanks for the comment, great question, I don't have much experience with crayfish, I think the catfish might bother it. They like to bother everything in their tank.
@MikeFish316 well from what I've researched lucipinnis has much more irregular dots, they're also often larger than on petricola The biggest difference is the axillary pore that lucipinnis lacks, patterns can vary, but this is always the case
Looks good Mike
thanks buddy!
African peacocks would look amazing with those catfish 👍👍
would you mix a bunch of different males or go just one type? Im thinking Eureka Red or Ruby Red
@@MikeFish316 I would go Featherfins, personally. Keep it Tang.
Keep them as only species tank, they will be more happy.
Brilliant.. I’ve done the same but I’ve got allot of hiding places ..so don’t see them all..

their are a few different styles of these fish.. do you know the name of the one that stays the smallest of them ?
I believe these ones (dwarf petricola) stay the smallest of this variation. Multipunctatus get about double the size. Hope this helps
Can we have a crayfish with these cat fish ?

Those look a lot like lucipinnis no?
pretty much identical, these were sold to me from a reputable dealer as petricola, but they are often mislabeled as lucipinnis or even hybrids
