Thanks so much for making this video. I’m planning out my 550 build right now and the rear end of the bike I picked up is in shambles. So I’d rather invest in the cognito set up vs re doing those drums. It looks really good especially with that meaty tire. So just to be clear, you were able to use the stock swing arm without any issues right? I have no problem doing a little fabrication, but simplicity can be nice. Thanks again, can’t wait for more updates on the project!

Correct the kit from cognito is all bolt on. They do allow for a wider tire option, but there could be some rubbing issues depending on tire selection (size and tread pattern).

Thanks so much for talking about the spacer - I ordered this kit and I'm installing today. I realized I too have a spacer issue. I can't get this assembly back in the frame. Did you call them and they send you another spacer or did you have to manipulate your current spacer?

Yeah give them a ring and explain they know the issue. It was only an issue on a small amount of bikes.
The tech guys will verify the issue and may have you take a picture or two to ensure it’s the same issue I had.
But the service with cognito is fantastic and they stand by their stuff.

I did and gave them my micrometer measurement of 32mm for the new spacer. They said they were going to include the spacer in their kit moving forward. Thanks again for calling this out in your video!
