Love the ranger gameplay ! you make it look so easy, played a bit with a group earlier and we did really well but ranger in solos feels pretty rough right now, any advice for dealing with spell overload wizard other than surprise multi shot? or wizard in general, they kinda just smoke me
Thanks for your support! So wizards and warlocks both require long range to deal with. In duos and trios, the longbow is super strong and absolutely obliterates both Warlock and Wizard. You just have to land shots (easier said than done, I know). In solos, the recurve bow is more effective altogether because you need the movespeed to deal with all of the fighting in goblin caves. So, with the recurve bow, you can't fight at super far away like you can with the longbow which means it requires you to be better at dodging the spells. Remember, spellcasters have reduced movement speed when casting spells so they are much easier to headshot. So, I always try and get my shots in as they are just about to cast their spells.
@@thedarkharvester Thanks for the tips ! i tend to forget that even if somebody can 360 invert double rhombus dodge your shots when they see it coming, there are times where they have to keep somewhat still and look at you regardless. I’m also just dog with the recurve lol I got too used to playing longbow on ruins

So few Rangers now, I feel like
@@thedarkharvesterYeah maybe because Ruins is gone and that was by far ht best Map for playing Ranger
One day my ranger will be half as good as yours haha
It’s just practice! It took many hours for me to hit my shots. And I still fumble every now and then. Your Ranger has got this 😎
