You honestly are just such a great teacher! You should be extremely proud of yourself. I realize that every time I come across your videos, I learn so much and so clearly! Thank you for all your helpful tips and tutorials!
Jennifer you are SUCH and inspiration, I just got my Cricut Explore Air 2 the middle of Sept. as an early Christmas gift and I started watching your videos to learn so I could make gifts for Christmas gifts (Christmas is tight this year hubs is on leave from work) I have made 77 projects and counting. I have embellished mittens, gloves, hats, t-shirts, blankets everything I got my hands on for the past month. I do enjoy Cricut Design space immensely and I'm still learning, I find the iPad Pro pad the easiest to use so I tend to use that the most. I do appreciate all you do and love your blog and TH-cam lessons.Thank you for all the lessons Jennifer.
I LOVE HOW WELL you explain the details! You take your time, speak clearly and slow enough to be understood and include many tips in the process. Thank you SO much, Jennifer.
I've watched a few of your videos and I love them. I really appreciate that you show how things don't always go as planned. I've had a cricut maker for about a year and I've hardly used it... mostly because of time, but also because I don't like messing up. Thank you for showing that it's ok to mess things up.
It’s totally okay to mess up, that is the only way we can ever get better at doing what we do, by learning from our mistakes! Thank you for watching my videos, I’m glad you’re enjoying them! :)
diana hafely here’s a true fact.... I’ve used various Cricut machines for the past almost 20 years and felt I was fairly good and comfortable using each one. However, when I received my Explore Air when they first came out I would literally sit in front of it and just stare at it, my hubby said I looked as if I was expecting some zombie hand to reach out and grab mine! 🤣 But after some time and several learning curves, I finally was comfortable enough and picked right back up and started enjoying my machine like all the previous ones! I now use a Maker machine along with my Explore Air, they’re both invaluable and used for different projects or together at the same time if I have a large project I’m working on. And mistakes are actually so helpful, I STILL mess up, we ALL make mistakes, but I’ve learned to roll with it... at least I know there’s no zombie hand that’s going to grab mine! ❤️ And there’s nothing wrong with asking for help, there’s many of us that would be more than happy to walk you through an issue you’re having. Jennifer’s videos are absolutely beneficial and so helpful, how I wish she’d been around when I was a “rookie” with fears of zombies in my machines! 🤣
@@JMicheleS33 thank you for the encouragement! I finally sat down at my computer last night and decided on a project. In all fairness, an acquaintance of mine said she knows that I make ornaments and asked for something specific so that helped my decision. I looked up a few things, found a video, and then finally started it. As usual, things didn't go exactly as the video showed, but I figured out my own way. Unfortunately, I realized that I don't have the right material so I have to go to the craft store today. It is my hope that once I get home tonight and click "make it" that things will go well. Have a wonderful day! Again, thank you!
@@JenniferMaker you've already made me so much more comfortable with some of the tools in cricut design space. I should be clicking "make it" on a project this evening so hopefully it goes well! Thank you!
diana hafely your project’s going to be beautiful and made from the heart, which is priceless! Plus they’ll be one of a kind and weren’t made in a factory in huge quantities! You’ve got this Diana, I believe in you! Wishing you and your family a very Merry and Bright Christmas. ❤️
i know Im asking the wrong place but does anyone know a trick to log back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid lost the login password. I would appreciate any help you can give me.
@Eric Marcelo thanks for your reply. I found the site through google and I'm trying it out now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Mrs. Jennifer I love your channel!!! You make learning on my Cricut so much fun! I enjoy all that you teach for making so many cool and beautiful things I can make on my Cricut machine, I got my friends to watch your channel and they love it! They are happy owners of Cricut air 2 and Cricut Maker. Thanks Mrs. Jennifer your a fantastic teacher!💞😇
Awe...thank you for being here and being a part of my wonderful community of crafters! I love that you're all here! Your words inspire me to do more! Thanks again! :)
I must say that I am intimidated by my machine but I know it can make beautiful things. I’m a new subscriber to your channel and I’m learning a lot. Thank you for all you do! Love your work!
I've heard many people say this but you've just gotta try it out! I hope my videos will give you the confidence you need to start making some beautiful things! :)
I don't know which I am addicted to more, my cricut or your videos! Thank you for such a thorough and calm experience in learning my machine. Merry Christmas :-)
You are an amazing teacher! I have been following you now for some time now knowing one day I would begin to use my cricut (5 yrs old now LOL). I of course made the most intricate image to begin with in photoshop (I am a pretty decent digital artist) ... I didn't quite know how that translated in the weeding! Well I got it but I had to "replace/move" the letters of some that came up while weeding. THANKS again for all that you do to help the beginning like myself! You are truly remarkable. P.s. The first time I tried to cut vinyl - it would not cut all the way through. I thought I'd done something wrong in settings etc - but a friend in our campsite came by to see what might be going on and she told me I did NOT have the blade correctly seated in the blade housing. She said she still does that at times even though she is long eperienced! I went through 12" of vinyl before I got that all figured out! Hope this might help someone else.
I just decorated my kitchen pendant lights with holographic vinyl. I will post pictures on your Facebook account. Thank you again for all you do for us.
My project My daughter bought several makeup bags and she wants to decorate them with vinyl. This will be the video I will use to show her the process. She still works outside the home and since I am retired I have the time to listen to a TH-cam video to learn. I have chosen your website over all others as a go to when looking to learn about Cricut. Thanks
Thank you for sharing your wisdom from experience. I just bought the Maker 3. I made a few things. I was so intimidated but I am certain I just fell in love with it!
I love that you share the things that don't work so well along with the things that do! Because of your experiences, I get to craft without error. Thanks so much Jennifer! I so appreciate you!!
Dear Jennifer, I am getting a Cricut for Christmas or at least I think!!!!😍. I can’t wait to look back for your beginner videos. I think I can actually learn how to use it by watching your wonderful, patient, easy to follow directions. Thank you so much.

Great tutorial. I appreciate all your videos. I am curious to know if it's possible to remove the permanent vinyl if you want to change out the design or remove it from a car window? Kind of a silly question, but not sure if "Permanent" really means permanent. I'm new to this craft. Thank you!
I just realized to my shock that I had not yet subscribed to your channel. You teach us so many things and you teach us so well. My fave. Thank you, Jennifer! 😊

As always, great video and great tips. I especially like the fact that you showed a "Lessons Learned" with the adhesive foil and intricate cuts. Thank you!
I just got a cricut a few months ago and had no idea how to really use it (I had the mini before and gave up because it was really confusing to me). Anyways, I have watched tons of videos explaining how to use a circuit and your videos by far are the best! Your teaching style is super informative, thorough and to the point. I also appreciate how your videos aren't hrs long to get to one point like others. Thanks for doing this for us cricut newbies. I will keep following you!
Awww, Jo Jo, thank you so much for your very kind words! I am always sad when I hear about someone who gives up on their Cricut because they think it's too hard, when all they needed was a little help! I'm so glad you think I'm helpful! 😁
Your experience with the foil made me feel so better. I am newer and had lots of issues with the foil and this explains why! Thank you and your videos are incredibly informative and helpful!!
Glad it was helpful, Ashley! We never stop learning, and will always have problems crop up, with our Cricuts! That's what makes them so much fun - they challenge our brains along with our hands!😍
I'm brand new to this, so I really appreciate your step-by-step instructions! I especially like that you included your process for troubleshooting when things don't go perfectly. Thank you!
You were highly recommended by so many people to me. I have been SO intimidated by my machine and you helped me through so easy! I made my first vinyl decal using one of your SVGs for the Kitchenaid Mixer. I used the Always Lick the Spoon. So much fun! It came out great!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
Often when I cut with the foil vinyls and such, I leave my settings as is but cut it twice...when it is done cutting the first time, do not remove the mat but instead hit the “c” cut button again...it will give it a second cut...I have cut some pretty fine and dainty elements that way. And in all honesty...I have waisted some pretty vinyl and valuable time on a couple...but you have to try!!! Love your tutorials...oh, btw...my daughter wanted a color of vinyl that only came in removable on her coffee cup that she hand washes....a year later it is still on and in tact. I would not do it for anyone else...but it is hard to say no sometimes and she was willing to give it a try!
I love, love, love your videos. I am just a part-time maker of gifts and things for friends and family. Whenever anyone asks if I can do something, I always say, " Let's learn from Jennifer!" I am going to try and make 24 tumbers and I know I will be successful after watching your video!
This video was SUPER HELPFUL!!! I am brand new to all things Cricut since being wonderfully surprised with my very own machine and a haul of starter supplies & tools for my b-day a couple days ago and I’ve been struggling ever since. BUT, I feel so thankful to have found you and your channel, (and to hear you have a blog too?! 🙌🏻 )!! You, my dear, are most definitely responsible for preventing what would have been the inevitable and rapid decline of my sanity over the next few months! Thank you, thank you, thank you-most sincerely!!
Thank you for this tutorial! I appreciate that you included what happened with the foil adhesive. You made me feel that I should not be afraid to try things. If it does not work out, try another way. Again, thank you!
Oh, Cindy, you are so welcome! No, you shouldn't be afraid to try things! It's only by failing that we learn...most of us don't learn nearly as much from our successes as we do from our failures! :)
I made my first design last night while watching this video. I did With Coffee Anything is possible and Smooth operator. I'm not sure I had any idea how hard weeding could be. Kind of like clipping threads on an embroidery project. I am excited to try so much more. Thank you Jennifer.
Thanks for this video. I just remodeled our kitchen and want to make vinyl labels for my containers for things like flour and sugar. I wish I had checked the different vinyl's; I bought all removable! Though, as I am new to cricut I can use it anyway and when it comes off I can use the permanent next time.
So I am brand new to cricut! Currently waiting for my explore air 2 to be delivered! So while waiting I’ve been doing research and watching lots of videos/tutorials and let me just say yours are absolutely THE best!!! Very informative! I feel once I get my machine, I won’t be so nervous to get started!
I did my mixer yesterday and found this today... but so glad I found this for my Quick cooker and other items. I just love you and your channel. Thank you for sharing you with us. xo
I just find you and I love your videos, I really want to buy a Cricut but I didn’t have an idea how to start but now that I found you I will buy it soon ❤️🎉
I am so glad I found you online! I have been spending more time staring at my cricut than using it til I found you, and now I am actually able to start doing projects! Hoping someone will buy me your book for Xmas- and looking forward to learning more from all the information you have so generously made available for free! Thank you Jennifer!
So exited! I'm a new Cricut crafter and I've decided to decorate my Cricut as my first vinyl craft. I love it! Thank you so much Jennifer for the tips and videos!
You are a life saver, I have been trying to find a video on HOW to use the premium vinyl because I want to make my husband a truck decal for his truck.
I was skeptical to watch this considering I think I’m sort of proficient with cutting decals but there’s ALWAYS something new to learn!!! Thanks for all the tips! 🥰
So I'm waaayyy behind (like decades) on this vinyl train!!lol! Started out with t-shirts this week and absolutely Love This New Craft (to me anyway). I can now see myself putting vinyl on EVERYTHING! My next shirt design will be.....Don't stand still for too long or I will Vinyl You Too!! LOL. Thank you so much for your videos!
You are my favorite amazing teacher. Will you please make a video of watercolor illustrations wall decal? I am sure lots of watercolor artists waiting for you ..that including me LOL.
Jennifer! Thank you for your wonderful videos! The step by step is amazing! I am learning so much! Of course there was some vinyl wasted for my first few tries, but with your help I am getting the hang of this! Thank you Thank you Thank you!

Wolf Widow, I didn’t know that vinyl had a shelf life either!! How do we know how old it is when we buy it from the store or online??
@@carolynhelmic1474 good question hopefully Jennifer can give us an answer on that.
I spray frosted large canning jars and cut snowflakes with my Cricut and put little battery tea lites in them. They are very cute and fun.
Sounds nice!
I did a vinyl decal on my powder room toliet seat for the holidays.
How awesome is that! Did you share in our Facebook group? I’d love to see it!

Yes! You can absolutely remove it. The easiest way to remove it is to apply heat, like with a hair dryer. It loosens the tack enough to peel off. :)

Light bulb moment 😳put vinyl back on mat to weed!!! Thank you
I want to make vintage sewing machine like a singer on my craft room wall 😍
Ohhhh a vintage singer decal would be ADORABLE on your craft room wall! :)
I made my first design last night while watching this video. I did With Coffee Anything is possible and Smooth operator. I'm not sure I had any idea how hard weeding could be. Kind of like clipping threads on an embroidery project. I am excited to try so much more. Thank you Jennifer.
Haha! Yes...weeding is either a love or hate type thing! :) So happy to have you here! Thanks for watching!
I have learned so much from watching your videos.
Glad to hear it! 😃💜
you're just the best Jennifer
Aww, thanks, Emily! 😍
Thanks for this video. I just remodeled our kitchen and want to make vinyl labels for my containers for things like flour and sugar. I wish I had checked the different vinyl's; I bought all removable! Though, as I am new to cricut I can use it anyway and when it comes off I can use the permanent next time.
Ooh labels for your containers is a good idea! You could always save the removable vinyl for some other fun project as well! :)
