It’s a bit of a thing in all honesty.. but like not in a bad way at all. The amount of energy y’all give off when you’re full of joy and happiness.. it’s impossible to not smile. Its the kinda joy you can feel vicariously. Smiling at someone else’s happiness can never be easier. Hope that’s not offensive at all. I think some peoples energy vibrates at a frequency you can just feel.

In my experience when it comes to old whyte ppl, blk ppl give way more compassion & understanding then the sit deserves. I worked at a nursing home & sweet baby Jesus it made me want to die sometimes. Like I felt compelled by the fact that I’m also whyte to try and correct what was like 60+ years of cultural conditioning. It didn’t often work, or I ended up with a crying old lady. I also have a blk step mom and nothing made them more confused then hearing me introduce her as my other mom. First there was the fact I had two moms which blew their fcking minds, then the fact I was whyte but had a blk parent. I’m like I’ve got two moms, you do realize I’m not saying they’re both my biological parents right? Like if that’s what you think I’m saying what kind of mad science do you think exists?! But old ppl in general say crazy sht. It’s like the filters fall off and they’ll tell you exactly what they think. It’s why I love old ppl. I was doing volunteer work at a nursing home before school started but when my fav died I realized the biggest downside to loving old ppl is they don’t last long. So I decided aginst working in that field. But any chance I get to talk to someone whose old I always enjoy it. They may some off the chain sht but it’s honest and often stupid funny. Having an old lady tell you about her sexual escapades as a teenager is one of the funniest things you can experience.
I thought it was hilarious when she said his dad is going to get beat up! Her assumption that blacks are violent, short tempered, lack self control, and lack the ability to properly assess the consequences of their actions might very well be a point of view I haven't considered yet. I could look into crime statistics broken down by race to verify her assumption but she's black so I'll differ to her superior racial awareness on this issue.
