I'm very thankful to have ridden these units. Well very briefly. From Pier head to Ryde Esplanade. It's like wandering back in time. Seats are super comfortable. Shame they are gone but they lasted a long time so thats good. Let's hope the D stock/Vivarail units will be good
Nice to see the Old one again before they go. Wish i had a chance to ride once last time before the D-Stock Comes. - Have Subscribed keep up the good work
Used to ride theses 1938 units regularly on the Bakerloo line when I was a boy and beyond, all great memories.
As old as they had become, I think people will miss bouncing and jolting on board these heroic little trains up and down the line from Shanklin.:)
the island line on it's peak
I miss those bouncy old trains

The Island Line is very scenic
Cause I love 1938 tube stock trains on the Isle of Wight
These used to be on the Bakerloo line before being replaced by the 1972 stock (the oldest tube stock currently)
Good memories :)
great video. also subscribed :)

Thanks for the sub!
A lot more reliable than these new 484 units and with the 38 stock at least we had two trains an hour up to the pier head unlike now
Sounds like a WDW monorail
