Hi it means that in dvr you can use the analog and ip cam at same time?
Good day sir.I have 8 channel Hikvision DVR. There is an allowed 2 ip cam. Can I use this IP cam to add 2 camera to my existing 8 analog camera.Thank You So Much.
Can you add an IPC to the Hikvision NVR from the internet? Ex. a vacation home
Hik connect mate is what you require
analog cameras less complicated than ip camera
1_internet connection must available for ip camera
2_if the ip changed you have to 1_delete & 2_add & 3_modify it again for ip camera
3_analog cameras work without internet but if want to see live or recorded video with pc or tablet or phone internet required through wifi.
4_if dvr connected to the router or switch by rj45, in rare case you can see live and recorded video by pc through rj45 cable between dvr and the pc no need internet
5_I recommended to buy latest dvr use 5mp or higher and camera built in mic
my maximum allow ip camera is 1 is there any way i can increase it?
Hello, What is the model you use? Depending on the model, it will support different channel numbers, you can also turn off the analog channel to add more IP cameras. Thank you so much!
My DVR model is DS-7A08HGHI-F1/ECO but the Camera Management option is not available. How to enable this.

please... i connect the ip camera used option 1 , when i want add it show me the ip cameras in same ip of dvr and am try to change the ip and end it when want to save it want insert the password...which password it mean...becouse i try to insert Dvr password it reject it...and what was ipc defoult password

@@Sabertooth17 Hello, This depends on your DVR, it can support extra 1/2/4 or 8 IP cameras. For example, 7208HGHI-F supports only 2 cameras; 7208HQHI-K supports 2 IPC and when enable enhanced IP mode support up to 4 IPC; 7208HUHI-K support 2 IPC and when enable enhanced IP mode support up to 8 IPC... And If you turn off the wired channel then you can replace the IPC channel there. Thank you so much!
Is there a limitation to add IP Cam?
Yes if you are using 4 camera in 4 channel u can add 1 ip camera
If you are using 3 camera u can add 2 ip camera
And one more thing if u are using this dvr u can get max 5 camera (4 analog 1ip camera)
If you are using black metal body dvr u can add 2 ip camera
