Does GoGo kid give you classes to teach or do you have to get your own bookings?
+Sandra Gordon both VIPKID and Gogokid are parent booked companies, so you have to market yourself to parents.

Does Gogokid still pay 60% of your rate, if you open times during peak hours, but they are not booked. I remember reading that before I signed up, but can't find anything about it on Freshdesk. Thanks!
I dont think subsidy payment is available anymore. Signed contract today with ggk. With Vipkid for almost two months now

+T S yes both companies have no minimum, you can open as many or as few slots as you want, you can also change your schedule at anytime as long as the slot hasn’t been booked yet!

It should be in your time, it goes off the time your computer is set to.

True! Subsidy pay is out but they are planning other incentive programs! The $300 new teacher bonus is still available though!
Can you teach at gogokid from an iPad?

If the two companies are open similar hours what is the advantage to working for both?
A back up is always a great idea. Many times there will be a slow down at one company or the other and you can fill in your hours elsewhere.
Do they still give the 60% pay if you don’t get booked in the hotspots?
No unfortunately they no longer give the 60%. They do frequently have extra bonuses for opening peak times.
Teacher Brett Do your gogokid referrals tend to get bookings? I work for the other company but I am just not getting bookings like I would like.
Kayla Holleman yes I find my referrals are having an easier time getting started at gogokid than VIPKID.

They will assign you letters after your name so the students can identify you from other teachers without giving them access to your real last name,
Do you know if it’s still 24 hour notice for classes or are parents able to book last minute classes?
Gogokid still does not have short notice classes, so nothing will book under 24 hours!
