It is with some considerable pride that I can say I attended quite a few of these matches. He is the best player I've seen...only Hudson comes close.

Best game he played had over 40 touches and 11 goals! Correct me if those numbers are slightly wrong but i no it was 40 plus and 9 to 11 goals! I'm 48 a hawk Gaza snr was the best I've seen! I was at 83 granny with dad and slightly remember barny but I remember Gaza snr! Gaza was Barney but over 6 foot so he had speed and height that barny did not! But both pure football geniuses! And tuff! I guess barny is the best ever because he did everything! What a freak he is was! Champion!! Wish Gaza stayed at hawk's they would of won 83 84 85 86 87 88 89 90 91 maybe more!! What a team that would of been!!!
@@mareewalker1096Apparently while he was coaching Brisbane, he was in a lift with some of his players and Justin Leppitsch asked Lethal if he'd ever had 40 possessions in a match ? He replied "no" and the players sniggered. After a small pause he continued, "but I did have 38 and kicked 11 once". The sniggers stopped. Later it was discovered that he did in fact have 40 possessions that day.

@@michaelmarshall1713 Most of them seem to ply the role of special comments over there; & that's fair enough I reckon....there's always room for a feminine perspective on the game by those who have played it.
