I like seeing people walking in and out of the aircraft and bags being loaded etc., it just feels more alive. Additionally, there are some local features like accurate ground service companies for each region/airport and the ground crew speaks with different accents. For all these small details I think it's absolutely worth it.

Best thing I ever bought, GSX paired with Self Loading Cargo is simply the best immersive addon combination. GSX Vehicles and Operations paired with the Ability to talk to ground crew and your cabin crew is just amazing.
Totally Agree! Although the only reason why I consider GSX good now is because of the community profiles! Without them, I would have a completely different view!

Talk about coincidences. I also have SLC and was pondering if i should get GSX. I also had prevoius versions of GSX and liked it to some extent.
It has no big problems if you know how to use it properly. When yiu have a proper profile for the airport it works perfectly. It's a must have for me. It adds so much realism to the sim. One of my favourite addons.

I've been holding off because of all the people moaning about so many bugs, but perhaps it's improved now. The other thing that seems like it would be annoying is the time it would take to download tons of profiles. It would be nice if there was an integrated portal/installer, where it lists all the addon airports you have, displays the profiles available and then lets you click one button to install, so all you have to do is select a bunch and click once to install everything automatically, and keep it up to date.

I was thinking about buying it and I think this video confirms it. GSX looks sooo cool!
It is a bit tedious at first, but once its all set up, it is worth it!
It’s definitely worth it! Been using it for months and brings immersion to another level!
And especially sometimes when you land at an airport and MSFS doesn’t show you the taxi ribbon and you can call the escort car or just ask GSX to show you the sport!

It’s definitely the only way I pushback for sure. I actually love this mod and have been using it for a while now. No game breaking bugs for me just stay updated.
yeah i think its worth it, got it when it came out for MSFS and it gives a good sense of immersion when it comes to passenger/cargo flights

Microsoft have announced that the majority of third-party add ons will be transferable.
However! It hasn’t been officially confirmed that GSX specifically will be compatible. So I can’t give you an honest answer at this time.
no it wont be. it never is. will require patching. you must be new to gsx................. ms is talking about vanilla marketplace sceneries and planes that do not have custom coding or complex dependencies and sim hooks. people as usual hear what they want to hear and not what they should be hearing. just brace. lots of stuff will require updates and gsx is 50000% going to be part of that list.
It probably will but MFS 2024 will have its own 😊
all of the features GSX provides will be implemented into the default version of msfs 2024

GSX is fully integrated with PMDG 737 and Fenix. I absolutely have gotten my money's worth from it. I jut hope they add water, cleaning trucks and Air unit

It does take some FPS but it only happens when you are parked stationary and GSX is active so it doesn’t matter that much..
Yes, like @hergi-tp9ve said. It does take up a little bit of FPS. However it’s only when you’re on the ground and not moving so it’s quite marginal. Thanks for watching.🤙
It’s good, but after the pushback, they ask for good engine start. When I go in the men’s to confirm it, the menu won’t open. I’m looking at forums and stuff but I can’t fix this. This was not a struggle when I first downloaded it. Now I can’t even finish a flight without having to start the couatl engine again.
The only thing I can suggest is making sure it’s fully up to date. However if its fully updated and you’re still having problems, maybe try fresh install!
@@InformationAlpha thx, but I have tried it, maybe it will work on Friday. Gonna fly then again. But today I tried to fly from Bergen to Oslo, and the same thing happened. Last time I flew from Stavanger to Bergen, and it was no problem, but now it is. And the strange thing is that this started on Friday last week, and has been happening since.
The main problem for GSX is the sloppy work by Asobo. Wrong parking spots, floating jetways, reversed parking spots, just bad Asobo design. And GSX must make a way around it. Sometimes its good, sometimes is bad. An airport has lots of gates and there is no way to set a designated gate to use all the time (if you fly with MSFS ATC). To adjust the GSX parameters for a certain gate takes up time. Multiply that with all gates at an airport: EHAM has 100 gates. And...GSX has a performance hit on my rig: I7 3700K - 32 GB DDR 5 - RTX 3060ti - M.2 SSD 980 Pro by Samsung. Loading time has doubled, sometimes jetways wont reach the plane on the default stand and you have to adjust manually before you can fly (including restarting the flight after the adjustment). Its a hard choice. I find myself not using GSX with the PMDG 737-800 as it is too much trouble.
You make some good points. But that’s why the community is so brilliant when it comes to the profiles to fix these airports. As for jetways we showed how to fix it by excluding the 3rd party airports in this video.

When it comes to loading and unloading an aircraft with crew, passengers, baggage/cargo payload and fuel is there a direct relationship between the aircraft size and operational flight plan (OFP) payload request and what GSX does ?
Yes there is!! You can link your Simbrief account to GSX in the in game GSX menu. This then allows you to load the specific OFP for the flight you filed. Thanks for watching :)
From the outside, as someone who's not bought it yet, it just seems so darn complicated (unnecessarily so?).

Does GSX work at all with 3rd party airports, just not displaying the jetways??? Just curious if it only works with the default airports. And do you have to make sure it has a profile for the airport you’re wanting to fly out of or into???
It works in both default and third-party airports. You’re able to disable the jetways in both default and third-party airports and you don’t need to have a profile in order to use the airport. However it’s recommended if you want to have vehicles come from certain areas or passengers walk along as specific area of the apron etc however, it’s not necessary. Hope this helps.

Yes, especially when we have aircraft that can load with multiple jetways SODE would come in very handy.

I bought it last year mainly for the pushback. I don't think it was £31 without looking, but it's worth every penny.
I just use the free Toolbar Pushback addon, works fine for me, and allows you to pre plan the pushback so you are right on the line at the end.
@underground1019 I've had that since day one, and I was its biggest fan. But it's too problematic now and doesn't seem to be maintained any more. That's mainly what gave me the push to get GSX, and I've not regretted it.

I accedently baught a wrong product from FS dream, insted of buying GSX pro for MSFS i baught GSX bundle with GSX Level 2 Expansion, I mailed immidiatly to FS dream but no answer yet, any suggestion please ?

I some what agree that there are still things that need to be worked on. But its much better now than was it was a year ago. :)
I'm using GSX on every single airliner flight and couldn't think of not having it anymore. FSDT has added a ton of configuration options since launch and all those community profiles for the planes and airports are a must to make it work as expected.

It’s been working perfectly for me, not a load of crap. I can’t think of anything that would make it better
i bought GSX and installed it correctly using the activation code but for some reason it says i have to go to a trial mode airport when i open the menu even though I paid for it... i dont know what to do.
Interesting… Firstly I would contact their support email with a screenshot of your purchase and a screenshot showing the trial mode. The activation key that was generated may have just been wrong.
I love gsx hopefully it will be working with fs2024! Btw you can download textures for the vehicles to get the aer lingus ground vehicles and not just a sticker looking like livery on the vehicles
Hi @nikolasderin5269. Thanks for watching! Yes, you are able to download additional textures, to update vehicles such as pushback trucks, stairs and cargo loaders however, certain things like passenger buses aren’t able to have new textures.
So to have gsx in ariports around the world i have to download those airports from the website right? Because when i open the menu it tells me that i only have a trial mode why?
Once you’ve purchase GSX you may need to activate it within the FSDreamteam Downloader application. Click on the link button. It should work on all airports!

@@InformationAlphaUsing it since a few days ago, working better than expected. Once Vpilot came with an update to get rid of the hovering pushbacks I decided to give it a try!
Not disappointed so far, even though there are some minor glitches for sure, but it worked generally great!

Does gsx pro work with the A320NEO FBW?
It does indeed.
For the passengers, do they also come in to the cabin and sit in their seat on fenix a320 or do they just disappear.
Passengers will walk up the stairs into the cabin however, they will disappear unfortunately. I personally would like to have them sit in the cabin, because it will add even more realism but at this time, it’s not possible. Thanks for watching :)

I cant guarantee you'll be able to use it in MSFS 2024 100%. However Microsoft and Asobo did state that the majority of 3rd party add ons will be cross compatible. So its likely the case. Thanks for watching :)

Hmmm. Make sure you check your AppData folders. If not, did you select to install it in a different location on your pc. If you still can’t find it then I’d suggest a re-installation.

To me, GSX is almost useless, unless you want to wander around the aircraft or make a film !
But if you stay in the cockpit, as all pilots do, you see almost nothing, just some glances on the passengers or catering, and the cockpit atmosphere is not very well rendered !
I prefer, by far, SLC (Self Loading Cargo) that is only specialized in the exchange between attendants, ground crew and passengers ! The atmosphere in the cockpit is MUCH more realistic !
I bought GSX, tried it, then I gave up ! Requested to be reimbursed (with no problem) to stay with SLC and to feel the cockpit atmosphere during the whole flight ! From loading to disembarking !
GSX ground service won’t stay long they leave like 10 mins there no way to keep gsx they always leave every ten minutes and have to keep calling

You may see a slight reduction in FPS, but that’s only usually while you’re on the ground and not flying so overall it’s not that much of a big deal. Thanks for watching. :)

Unfortunately not, this is a paid addon.
GSX isnt good. It’s a port for the 90s. I was extremely disappointed. Uninstalled and won’t install.
Will NEVER be as good as it could and should be. Mainly because the dev has a poor attitude. Never accepts responsibility for issues. While they dont control all factors, they certainly could control their own vehicles driving through wings, driving through other gsx vehicles, and having terrible motion and movements. Tires facing opposite direction as turn, baggage handlers walking backwards.
The animations in the first minute of of your video answers your question. Tug wheels turning the wrong way, nose gear glitch, aircraft door cutting through the stairs, baggage handler walking backwards. GSX is a total rubbish product and I have zero confidence the author has the technical ability to improve it from its current state.
FSDT has always been extremely lazy when it comes to GSX... they never fix anything and their response is always "do it yourself"... they generally have a very toxic attitude towards product enhancements and only do things when they are absolutely broke. i used the p3d version of this and never bothered with msfs one, and ill say its the same product just ported.. same models for a lot of the stuff as well.. which is fine i guess as nothing is wrong with them to begin with. this is a program that really only matters if you are the kind of nerd who sits on the ground for an hour before each flight doing random bs like checklists, in a game that absolutely will let you fly as you wish with even the most "realistic" addons. anyway, not worth unless you like to preflight hardcore.
