That's great to hear, and that's where I'm doing it for. Hope you have a great journey (and despite the fact that it's not a sceinic route, I also hope the windows will be a bit cleaner than what I had).
Going to Friedrichshafen next June, I'll possibly book my tickets via The Trainline, as we don't like little time between stops, we prefer an hour or two so we can get a meal etc, great video by the way
The only problem there is with splitting up ur Tickets is, when your first train is delayed and u cant catch the second( with Sparpreis). WIth one ticket u can just take the next train. With 2 Tickets u need to buy a new one.
Of course you can feel some pressure but it's nothing compared to airplanes. High-speed trains are pressure cabins as well, so in general, you feel less than when you're in a slow train going up in a mountain.
Aah this gives me some good memories from travelling from Paris Gare De Lyon to Bellegarde with TGV Lyria in the summer. Lovely experience and my first experience travelling solo in another country. Theres just something great about the Duplex sets at the upper deck. Whizzing by at 300 kmh in a double decker while having a drink in the bar, lovely. In the train I was on the seats between the coaches (the ones with no windows) seemed to mostly be used by people having phone calls.
Hi! I'm interested was the train on time or was there some delay? I'm travelling from Paris to Karlsruhe and then I have to catch a flight so I'm worried that i won't have much time if there are some big delays.
In my situation the train was on time. However if you have an important connection to make please calculate extra time. I'm working as a travel agent in railways, and we do really play extra safe for our passengers, because the consequences of a delay can be huge.
Hey, I want to make this journey but I get scared of going through mountainous areas! Are there any really high up parts of the journey, or any viaducts? I'd really appreciate any information - thanks!
You mean the time in Germany before I could take my next train? For me it was very reasonable, if you have a through ticket and you can't make the connection you can also take the next train, however you might loose your reservation.
It's normally from 06:46 from Munich or from 15:55 from Paris. Sometimes it might be that the route won't be fully operated, due to track maintenance. If you have to change, it's a great connection as well.
So you judge people because they are vaccinated or not? To me it's freedom to choose if you have this or not and at the moment of traveling this was a frequently asked question (now it's off topic), to answer these questions at forehand I mentioned it. It's a pitty that you judge so quick, for me it's a freedom of choice and this is the last thing where I'm judging people for (but apparently people who are anti vaccinations need to judge people who do get vaccinated) and it's probably so annoying to you that you have to write this comment saying that it doesn't meet your values, America "land of the free", I see.
Thank you for this video. Saved my travel!

Great video, I did this route last summer, to the TVG from Karlsruhe to Paris and came back same day on an ICE, Paris to Manheim

That's true.
The SNCF jingle is literally my ringtone, so imagine my anxiety hearing it on full stereo. 😂😂😂
😆 😂
3-08 escalator in Paris? wow - you're lucky!!!!
Great video 👍
It feels like you pronounce "configuration" as "conversation" :)
Very informative indeed! Does anyone know if there’s any Covid restrictions or things to take note for travellers to cross German/France via train?
This might change per day. So I'm nog going to answer that, this can be found at the official governmental websites.
as of now. No Covid regulations. Just that in Germany u still need to wear a mask.
Führerstandsmitfahrt PARIS EST - MUNCHEN HBF TGV❤
How does this train ride feel on the ears? I am really worried about flying due to ear problems, but this looks like the perfect alternative!

There are no mountains here. Some viaducs as well of course no big tunnels either.
hi! how was the transit time? was it reachacble?

Somebody knows why I can't find a direct connection from Munich to paris

Hello. How much money did u pay for this train. Thank you for videos and greetings from Turkey.
Prices are flexible. I think I mentioned a bit in the video on how to book tickets yourself.
He sounds like he's gagging when he speaks.
Thank you for the useful feedback.
@@Trainviking You understand sarcasm! Are there others who speak the way you do?
I turned off the video after you were proudly saying you got a booster....
