What do you think yuta’s interpretation of shrine and fire arrow will be. Personally i think instead of knives and scissors, its gonna be katanas. I say this because he probably switch trained with gojo who is the only guy capable of combining both curse technique reversal and amplification so if yuta were to combine hot and cold he would get flames that freeze.
Ghosty thank you so much for the continued support. Oh interesting, Yuta's interpretation...I think 'katanas' is probably right. In so far as he literally used one to cast Cleave in his domain. Hey man, this video had me thinking of something from earlier on in the arc. Didn't Yuji learn more about soul perception from Yuki's book? If so wouldn't it be likely that Todo also learned about soul perception from his time training with Yuki? Also thanks for answering my previous questions, I enjoy your content a lot and the discord is really fun, especially the Lobotomy Kaisen channel
Crimson thank you so much man, and yes Yuji did learn more about the soul from Yuki's book, but I don't know how far it is to say she learned more about the 'perception' of the soul from the book. We know that he has that ability thanks to sharing a body, I think he just learned more about how souls work from it. But its entirely possible that Todo could have a much better understanding compared to anyone else due to be Yuki's student, and then if we add that to any potential soul swap insight into Souls he may have gotten, he may have been able to gain some sort of perception!
Great video. Seriously great explanation. I think Todo might have used boogie woggie with his hand and another person's. He did it with Mahito. So maybe Mei Mei.
I think todo "Re thinked" the parameters of his CT: By learning regular RCT he can heal his hand to the blob mahito left him with, and maybe he needs to keep healing it so it doesn't explode, but thats still His Hand. Same can be done with a prostetic, or the "demonic hands" reshaping ala yuji's hands. (Imagine the choso and todo: big bro team up) As long as he truly believes Thats His Hand, he can clap with it. Or maybe even snap his fingers. That also goes very nicely with the "mind part" of the ven diagram coming into play, and how yujis shrine is diferent because of his perception of it and the era he was born in. Yujis and sukuna having similar souls and bodys, only leaves their minds to make a diference.
I think under the bandage it’s a cursed spirit type thing. It’s prolly something like the thing Toji had in the sense that it’s a pet spirit that matches him well. Maybe part of Yukis pet
I thought that it could be a corpse doll hand. Maybe they made a Panda-type thing. They foreshadowed that when Yaga "cursed" Gakuganji with the knowledge of how to create cursed corpses.
i personally feel the todo yuji clap back is great thematically, not only to show the value of teamwork to sukuna but also the value of comradery. beating the breaks off the "strongest ever" with pure hands and teamwork is fitting af.
I'm currently nurturing a small undercooked theory, but what if the person who Todo could have swaped for training with wasnt Yuuta or Yuji, but instead, Ui Ui. Todo doesn't quite need reverse curse technique, the chapter itself tells us that what he needs is to finetune his curse technique, and increase his range. something important about curse techniques that goes overlooked is how "visualization" and specific interpretations modify them (with Yuji's recent shrine example, but also how Gojo could alter his domain expansion to be as small as a basketball), Ui Ui's curse technique is also a form of teleportation, and its extremely long ranged, so by swapping with Ui Ui, Todo could not only get a feel for what it feels to stretch out a teleportation's range, but also two other important things. First would be Ui Ui's relative understanding of the shape of the soul, I'm not gonna say he's an expert, but based on him being able to swap souls should indicate of this, this would also explain how he's able to swap Maki out of sukuna's domain. the second could be the different activation conditions, as Ui Ui seems to use a sheet in order to teleport, and we've seen several characters now modifying the conditions as to be able to activate their techniques after being injured (sukuna has been doing it on the fly, but Todo doing it in the timeskip isnt crazy). maybe that's while his hand is wrapped too?
Well if yuta swapped with yuji than wouldnt yuta gain soul perception, also maybe the bandages are like a drum of sorts for todo to continue to use boogie woogie
That screenshot made me realize... Todo seemingly cut his hand off BEFORE idle transfiguration crept up his arm. Would that not be sufficient to avoid permanent disfiguring? 🤔
his new hand under that bandage sorta looks like a ping pong racket and we know toda likes playing pin pong from his interaction with mei mei so its possible
From Todo's style and given that the wrappings look a bit round, it could be a small drum, it keeps the Buddhist vibe and goes a bit deeper, also, for it's much faster than clapping, if he was fast before, with a drum he will go 10x ham
I have a different theory, what if Todo's hand is back and his Technique is back, but the reason his hand is wrapped up is because he's thinking about how Sukuna could've very well been watching during the fight with Mahito and knows he lost his hand. He wants Sukuna to think that he still doesn't have his hand and can't use his technique. Todo is no stranger to tricking opponents (Hanami, Mahito) but we're definitely gonna get some background on Todo next chapter 👍
I definitely don’t think he has his hand back I think it’s replaced with a mace or whatever cause that bandage is huge and who’s to say todo can’t just snap his fingers for boogie woogie
2:32 Me and my friend never believed todo was down, after figuring out that CT are stored/made somewhere in the brain it made no sense for boogie woogie to die just because todo lost his hands.
Sukuna uses cleave/dismantle to chop, and furnace to cook. Last chapter said Sukuna can’t use his technique temporarily, and Yuji and Todo seem like they are about to throw hands. I feel like Sukuna will fight them with his trident/trishula, which could represent the utensil he uses to eat after the cooking process is finished (i.e., after using the flames).
Thank you so much for the support! I could totally see something like this happening, I feel like we have to see Hiten before the story is all said and done (at least I want to)! So now with everything else out of the tank for Sukuna it does seem like the perfect time
i wouldnt be surprised if todo learned more ways to use boogie woogie do to exposure to Ui uis teleportation technique while different its similar enough he could take alot of good notes from it
Love your content man. Do you think that if Gojo came back without Six Eyes he would still be able to use his technique anywhere near what it was since he had years training and getting his body used to the feeling of that technique? I was wondering if you had any thoughts on the way techniques seem to be engraved into a person? Like with Yuji having Blood Manipulation due to his birth, but then gaining cleave from Sukuna being in him, and seemingly gaining abilities from swapping with Kusakabe and others?
Zachary thank you so much for the support man! I talk about the first half of your question in my video here: th-cam.com/video/EqP-JDrWpc4/w-d-xo.html I left out a little bit from the video because I wanted it to be anime friendly, so to address the other part of your question, I think people are just born with techniques and thats what they mean by 'engraved' for the most part. Yuji wasn't born with blood manipulation he got it after eating the cursed-womb death paintings, and then for Sukuna's technique that was 'engraved' due to their time sharing a body. So I think aside from funky workarounds like that, you have to be born with it. But then yes, different skills were picked up by the soul-swapping, but no actual CTs. Thank you again!
i really like to think hes got a little cursed drum as his hand, it would expand the range of which the clap is heard and be the reason he calls boogie woogie a beat. it falls in line with "experimental prosthetic" and it would just be cool as hell.
It would be cool if Todo's hand was made using cursed corpse manipulation from Principal Yaga because we know that they know how to make Cursed corpses and the Frankenstein-ish would look cool and kind look like Mahito made the hand
@lxxdccvii4805 that's actually what he does at the end of the Mahito fight to trick Mahito and we see it doesn't do anything. So that doesn't seem to be an option.
@@seeker38 we have also seen him clap with both hands and boogie woogie doesn’t activate. His intention there was a fake out anyway so he wasn’t trying to use boogie woogie anyway
Maybe they used one of Sukuna's arms that were cut off to fix Todo's arm. This can possibly explain the Soul RCT If Todo can then use Sukuna's abilities by using a part of his body.
But if sukuna had connection with yuji he would never be surprised to knw that yuji has learnt rct or surprised by the part where everyone has improved over the past month
Todo's domain expansion may allow him to swap things that aren't just positional, or mess with other position-based properties. Alternatively it may allow him to swap without having to clap or with a different rhythm/requirement, which would be neat, imagine that any physical contact allows him to swap
Wouldn't it be possible that Todo by training and having bouts with Yuta and hitting black flashes, managed to develop new pathways and got Boogie-Woogie back that way. Also because we just left last couple of chapters that explained just this phenomenon.
don't forget there may be a cursed weapon/gauntlet that todo uses because remember maki has all the zenin clan cursed tools now or maybe shoko, yuji, yuta, choso and noritoshi had a surgery using blood manipulation and reversed curse technique to make this work.
My guess is that what's underneath the bandages is basically what Todo's hand should be post Idle Transfiguration but the bandages are there to reduce its volume that way that "mass of flesh" he now calls "hand" is good enough to fill the requirements to activate boogie woogie.
Personal, I don't think Todo ever lost his technique in the first place. Innate techniques have been stated to be engraved in the body itself. But then that still doesn't explain the idle transfiguration soul=body bit and I think I have two answers for that. The first one is that the soul can be changed/damaged to certain extents. An example is when Mahito DE managed to make contact with Todo's soul. You would think that having him touch the soul, Mahito would have already won but not only did Todo manage stop idle transfiguration from working by severing his hand. He still had Boogie woogie when he slapped Mahito hand. With this you could possible chip away a part of the soul two keep the rest of it safe, or and this is the one I'm leaning with. Is that the soul and body are two separate beings. This one more so goes over when Gojo was being sealed and Geto's body reacted and tried two choke Kenjaku. Kenjaku then asks Mahito if the body and soul were truly one and the same which Mahito reply that both their interpretation could be corrected. Tho know I'm thinking that Kenjaku might have been right and the two are separate.

What if they used Juzo Kumiya's cursed technique to help create a replacement hand for todo? Like a cursed tool, Which is why it's in bandages,
I think under the bandage it’s a cursed spirit type thing. It’s prolly something like the thing Toji had in the sense that it’s a pet spirit that matches him well. Maybe part of Yukis pet
I could see todo making a binding vow that now he can only swap with people he has a connection with
I thought that it could be a corpse doll hand.
I think Todo's new trigger for Boogie Woogie is snapping his fingers. Finger snaps are another form of applause.
Whenever Yuuji falls
Todo Rises them both back to the top of their 120% potential
truly the homiest of homies
Bro has a paddle or musical instrument for a hand now, which would make sense given boogie woogies name.
Todo got a second hand in addition to the one he lost, can clap with just one arm.
CALLED IT. 😭
love that todo is back. love it more that boogie woogie got a potential buff. It always felt like a "complete" technique, or plateaued.
He’ll probably have a prosthetic hand curse tool, which one of mechamaru’s experiments left behind.
Never thought you'd ever make a video longer than 10 mins man😂
his new hand under that bandage sorta looks like a ping pong racket and we know toda likes playing pin pong from his interaction with mei mei so its possible
He aint clapping his hands, thats for sure 😂
From Todo's style and given that the wrappings look a bit round, it could be a small drum, it keeps the Buddhist vibe and goes a bit deeper, also, for it's much faster than clapping, if he was fast before, with a drum he will go 10x ham
I WAS RIGHTTTTTTTTTTTTT (kind of)
👍🏻
I have a different theory, what if Todo's hand is back and his Technique is back, but the reason his hand is wrapped up is because he's thinking about how Sukuna could've very well been watching during the fight with Mahito and knows he lost his hand. He wants Sukuna to think that he still doesn't have his hand and can't use his technique. Todo is no stranger to tricking opponents (Hanami, Mahito) but we're definitely gonna get some background on Todo next chapter 👍
There's case like how people that losing their limbs somehow can still feel the sensation so it's probably that's how Todo can still use it
I definitely don’t think he has his hand back I think it’s replaced with a mace or whatever cause that bandage is huge and who’s to say todo can’t just snap his fingers for boogie woogie
2:32
Me and my friend never believed todo was down, after figuring out that CT are stored/made somewhere in the brain it made no sense for boogie woogie to die just because todo lost his hands.
Could've been a mental block. He's the type to deal with something like that.
14:20 your mindset determines how you perceive the world or at least has a significant effect on it.
So now with everything else out of the tank for Sukuna it does seem like the perfect time
i wouldnt be surprised if todo learned more ways to use boogie woogie do to exposure to Ui uis teleportation technique while different its similar enough he could take alot of good notes from it
Editing mistake at 9:55 brother, but flawless video as always! Just thought I should point it out
Love your content man.
I talk about the first half of your question in my video here: th-cam.com/video/EqP-JDrWpc4/w-d-xo.html
I left out a little bit from the video because I wanted it to be anime friendly, so to address the other part of your question, I think people are just born with techniques and thats what they mean by 'engraved' for the most part.
We’re so back
i really like to think hes got a little cursed drum as his hand, it would expand the range of which the clap is heard and be the reason he calls boogie woogie a beat. it falls in line with "experimental prosthetic" and it would just be cool as hell.
It would be cool if Todo's hand was made using cursed corpse manipulation from Principal Yaga because we know that they know how to make Cursed corpses and the Frankenstein-ish would look cool and kind look like Mahito made the hand
He’s definitely going to have a ping-pong paddle taped to his hand. Lol
People forget we see him use boogie woogie after his arm is cut off when he claps mahitos hand so he could probably just use a prosthetic
Or if for some reason a prosthetic doesn't work, he could just clap another person's hand (such as Mei Mei).
@@seeker38 or just slap his stump of an arm lol, it would still make a noise
@lxxdccvii4805 that's actually what he does at the end of the Mahito fight to trick Mahito and we see it doesn't do anything. So that doesn't seem to be an option.
@@seeker38 we have also seen him clap with both hands and boogie woogie doesn’t activate. His intention there was a fake out anyway so he wasn’t trying to use boogie woogie anyway
He's got Hanson's hand from Scary Movie 2.
Maybe they used one of Sukuna's arms that were cut off to fix Todo's arm. This can possibly explain the Soul RCT If Todo can then use Sukuna's abilities by using a part of his body.
As for how todo swapped people out without unrapping his hand, we have seen todo active boogie-woogie by clapping his hand with someone else's hand.
Maybe Todo used a binding vow to get his hand back, and in return, black flashes becoming harder for him specifically to hit
It could be Mechamaru's robot puppet hand underneath the bandages, it would be super cool if he could shoot lasers out of it
Domain expansion, “did you pray today”
It's gonna be some kinda mechamaru prosthetic
Wouldn't it be possible that Todo by training and having bouts with Yuta and hitting black flashes, managed to develop new pathways and got Boogie-Woogie back that way. Also because we just left last couple of chapters that explained just this phenomenon.
the new arm is a cursed tool that has become imbued with boogie-woogie after todo training with it.
don't forget there may be a cursed weapon/gauntlet that todo uses because remember maki has all the zenin clan cursed tools now or maybe shoko, yuji, yuta, choso and noritoshi had a surgery using blood manipulation and reversed curse technique to make this work.
Todo learned the _turbulence_ and that's how he got his Boogie Woogie back
Mechamarus arm and a clap is the an acclimation of the soul.
My guess is that what's underneath the bandages is basically what Todo's hand should be post Idle Transfiguration but the bandages are there to reduce its volume that way that "mass of flesh" he now calls "hand" is good enough to fill the requirements to activate boogie woogie.
gotta be a binding vow™️
