Boogie woogie is the best ability in the game in terms of raw creativity and skill expression but i also think the other abilities are absolutely suited to the 2v2 format an enhance team building and play considerably. Megumis summons which can be sent across the field to assist your ally or set up combos. Mahitos long range snipe means he's a constant third party damage threat despite being a melee character. The control you have over a match with nobaras nails/ effigys and how and when you place them. I've set up one shots for my allies. Yujis speed allows him to run across the field in ways other characters cannot. At level 3 he has constsnt guard break pressure along with his field presence. Hanamis with good awareness can control meter gain and punish stationary players etc etc etc. This isn't even to mention how these things interact with each other. The game really opens up when you start "playing the field" so to speak. A lot of these things wouldn't work or would be considerably less interesting in a 1v1 game. The devs knew what they were doing. It just didn't always come out perfect as it does for most games firsr times. People are starting to come around to the game's strategies. I think it will age well for people who enjoy arena fighters as a whole abd nit necessarily CC2 style games.
man imagine a real good fighting game of jjk from arcsystem like a dragon ball fighterz or guilty gear. the godlike combo potential with todo and other jjk chars its just so sad :(
todo is so frustrating to me because half the time the claps do the wrong input and they use up so much of his total energy so if you waste it you're screwed

I would've preferred 1v1 for video purposes, since it's easier to focus on one character rather than scattering your attention to a team of three.
