One of the favorites in my collection. Everytime I bring Meander to meet-ups it's a huge win and people end up ordering bottles. Beautiful creamy sandalwood with green touches, iris and incense. Melancholic, calm, with a bit of bracing freshness in the open. Truly a showcase of fragrance as an art.
Really, really beautiful scent, although my bottle is emptying quite quickly as it just doesn't last long on my skin, but while it does last....wow, I'm in heaven!
@@robes08 I had to revisit & update this comment, as I just got a new bottle of Meander & it lasts much longer than the bottle I bought when it was first released. Maybe they went back & fixed the issues people were having with it.
I like the lightness of this scent. When I tried it, I was expecting to be slapped in the face with something really strong but this was so soft and calming. Great stuff 👍
Another one I have a sample of 😁 I get everything you said, I also have Lost Alice, from what I smell imagine Lost Alice get stuck in the opening, a little more feminine, but more comforting IMO, I find Meander a little harsher, they go in very different ways when they hit the dry down, for me the winner was Lost Alice, I now have a bottle, need more time with Meander. The other two that grow on me are: Purpose and Royal Tobacco, those are the ones I'm going to get first. I think for most the new direction that Amouage is taking is difficult to grasp, Amouage is a beloved brand for a lot of people, change is always hard, but I think Mr. Salmon is doing an excellent job and his very careful and thorough in his decision making for the brand, I really like were Amouage is going. Excellent Samplin' thank you Marc!!!
Great one...I tried it in the summer and I couldn't even sense it but on a third time I sense all the magnificent that this scent is producing...Great review as always 😊😊
Cheers Marc, haven’t smelt anything after C.C.left the building 😮, I am not surprised as Amouage like the vast majority of houses have to go by way of the trends ,and the growth of the market ,plus the newer fragrance users have their own scent profile favorites that are sadly not what us older fragrance lovers would consider a complex game changer offering,so it’s a win for the young newbie with cash to burn and the fragrance house who can sit on their hands and all regurgitate this new genre for bigger profits and less interesting ingredients etc 😊, That said they are most probably really enjoyable scents that are here to stay for a generation wanting more of the same .✌️🙏👍
with newer amouages i wouldnt even buy a sample until i hear both you and ramsey's opinion lol. as im sure you know, hes not a big "fish man" fan haha. but you convinced me to check this out with your review
I have sampled most of the newer Amouage fragrance after Chong left, and none of them are bottle worthy imo. Good quality, but not worth that Amouage price! 😬

Melancholic is a perfect word for it that I missed. Great comment.

Is that why your face is so green? 😆

I felt the same way, I was surprised on how light it was especially when looking at the notes.

Lost Alice is now on my sample list for sure. I think Mr. Salmon is doing a good job, it's hard to replace Chong as he was almost flawless.
Great video and I enjoyed it and I'm going to try it and have a blessed night
Thank you! You too!
You welcome keep up the good work and thank you very much GOD BLESS 🙏
Awesome review! I’m getting a sample right now. You had me drooling lol. I need some Zen in my life.
Hope you enjoy it! Thanks Julie! 😊

Thanks for sharing! It's a good one.
I love to bathe in this. Great to get your thoughts on it Marc!
Love seeing you on the channel. Appreciate the support.
Good Memories Love the Background 👍👍
Classic
Great job as always Marc... This is a great fragrance to reach for in the Spring... ^_^
I think so too!
Thanks Marc!!
Welcome!
My wife wears Amouage Ashore a lot. Another fantastic creamy, calming scent from Mackenzie Reilly.
I love the name
Everything you said was spot on. It was a blind buy for me. Once I saw carrot, orris and sandalwood? I was sold. It's a 10 for me. Love it to life
It's a very solid 9 for me, but I think it would be even better tested in spring.
Good work!
Thank you! Cheers!
You've peaked my interest. I may have to find a sample.
Hopefully you do!

I think this one kinda falls in the whole beach hut, sunshine man territory.
Meander in general is considered a "meh" for an Amouage, but i think it's a great versatile fragrance with great longevity.
Appreciate your take and I could see this kind of scent not hitting with everyone.
I'm still waiting for you to sample Amouage Boundless ❤
It's on the docket
Have to get my nose on this one
Yes you do
Marc is saving all the fun samples to himself and only letting us vote among YSL Y flankers😡
🤣
Not phirst...😢 this fragrance felt very weak on me but overall, very good.
Thank you so much for sharing. It does not have much punch tbh
@@robes08 Rather unusual for a Amouage

It's solid. Happy that you'd give it a chance.

Fair enough! I'd give them a 2nd chance tho
