There was once when my relationship with God became colder and colder due to the rat race of life. One day, I joined a worship and a singer there sang this song. The very first lyrics of it touched my heart unconsciously 'Everyday they pass me by. I can see in their eyes. Empty people filled with care, headed who knows where...'. Then 'Laughter hides their silent cries. ONLY JESUS HEARS'. I really broke into tears when all my past pain, failure flowed back with moments of me sitting alone in an empty room crying and praying to God. Criticized by family, demeaned by teachers, despised by friends,... all at my first and biggest failure in life, I had no one to share, no one to confide, no one to cry on, but only God Jesus. It was He who healed me. It was He who wiped my tears. And it was He who raised me up from my inferiority complex. 'People need the Lord... He's the open door...'. The words resonated with my heart, bringing me to tears. Never before have I experienced such priceless love from God. Thank you, Lord, for now I know how much I need You in my life!

Last week I met with a young man, struggling and defeated. He found the Lord. I saw him today, glowing like a bright and joyful light. He can't stop telling people what happened to him. That's what Jesus does! There's this man on the church I'd go to during Sabbath who'd only sing two songs whenever he would be asked to sing on the pulpit. This is one of them, the other song was something with Jerusalem on its lyrics. Many people at church would smirk or sometimes let out a small laugh coz they'd know that they'd hear of either the two songs I mentioned. I don't know about them but I have always believed that the Lord delights on these songs and so should his people. No matter how many times it gets repeated. Fortunately for that man, he still sings up to this day. Still singing those two songs whenever he gets the chance.

That's always my prayer - that the Lord God will be merciful to His world because of what Christ has done! If the Lord had not come to the world and given His life and paid the price for our redemption, we would have been toast! But He did come and will come back again for His faithful ones, bless His holy name for ever. He will help us because He loves us. We keep praying for the lost - many are coming in at this late hour. Many are coming in from the cold - from the north, east, west, south. The field has never been so ripe, we need all hands on now for the final harvest! Amen!
