    Some tips: always put male and female connector togehter before soldering, this stabilizes the pins and transfers heat. use a solder iron with a bigger tip, should look like a slotted screwdriver. the solder iron should have a power of about 60-80W. for holding the connectors: do not use the helping hands, there are to weak, a small mobile machine vise works fine.

      Thanks for the advice. I agree with putting the female connector in and would definitely help with plastic casing distortion. Luckily the Qs8 lugs are so huge, and wire gauge so big that heat wasn’t an issue, it was actually the opposite were it absorbed so much heat that it was hard to keep the solder fluid.

    Where did you get the QS8 to TRX splitter? Looking to run this same setup on my XRT.
