I want to be a trap account but I don’t want to coin and 12b for food and lumber is way too much. 😢 any recommendations to get rss because sending 5 queen js just ain’t cutting it for me..
Ymir, join an alliance that rallies them non stop - and if you can join that alliance with an alt too so you can double the rss rewards. A good alliance and hard work and you can get 3b each rss easily from both accounts combined each Ymir week.
Flats help higher tiers also. Build a small alt with no military research you’ll see what the unbuffed stats for each troop type are. Those green numbers are buffed by your research so your refine percentages are not added to it. They’re added to base troop buffs. You will find that 30% and a flat refine doesn’t make much difference.
I wouldn’t argue that flats still help bigger troops. I think my point was that when building a t1 defense, flat refines are a key. I rock a few flats in some areas where big troops are there and where stats are easily debuffed. Base stats for cav are (220/150/400 t1 and 7540/4970/13620 t15) I would still argue that % has more benefit for t13/14/15. But I think it’s a great argument and I’m happy you watched and chimed in 🙏🏻
@@evonywithRSPandVIG I’m building a worksheet to check from tier 1-15 for flats and refines in attack march. Also if we add the factor that they can’t be debuffed. Let’s see what happens. 😊
@@evonywithRSPandVIG up till now with 25% debuffs for refines top 4 tiers are good with percentages. But with 50% debuffs only t14 and t15 are higher if refined with percentages.
Hi! Great video and learned a lot. Actually learned a lot from all your tutorials. I started to build one and my question is if you have T1 cav trap do you ghost only cavs and keep the ground and range march in? Because I know a big guy can still come over and hit and just kill your trap
Thanks bro 🙏🏻 I think it depends on what is attacking you…if the opponent attacks with range, you most certainly want your high tier cavalry ghosted…if they send ground, you definitely want your high tier ground ghosted…if they send cavalry, you probably want both your high tier ground and cav ghosted…if they send siege you want to thin out those high tier siege layers. Hard to predict and to make those decisions in a moments notice. The best defense accounts I’ve seen have very small upper tier layers in basically every troop type except maybe range. They buff their t1 wall and have enough in their upper layers to make their defense stronger but not too much to lose too much power. Best of luck! D
Thanks so much Bro! I just wanted to see your thoughts were because it unpredictable in the SVS or battlefield. Sometime not quick enough to know what to unghost when so many things are going on. Bit your comment in range and smaller upper levels make sense and will try that. All the best and thanks once again
Question on the wall general. Do you need to go with a defense general with a t1 defense city? Given that the percentage dont do much to help the t1, will another set of debuff generals help more? Do you have any results if you put in Nero+Cixi instead?
Really good point, I think this is probably best idea early to get those much needed debuffs where you may not be getting them from fully geared sub generals or tech. Long term I think I’d rather have invested in a troop specific wall general however as it’s important to have % buffs as you increase your layers.
We had someone build one of the best t1 accounts I’ve seen and had jindeok on the wall. Actually drew more hits because people thought they forgot to change. So ultimately, the wall general can help a little but it’s not as important imo which is why I think the debuff general route is a smart one.
@@evonywithRSPandVIG Nicely done. Use Jindeok as bate. Funny thing i was thinking about doing that too. If you look at her redstar ability...all towards in city troops. Ive see a few videos saying that flat siege is only way to take on the t1 defense. Any thoughts on if we also build t1 siege as a way to counter the a siege bomb. While the t1 siege attract the siege bomb..mounted will kill the siege.
What will be the best way for a 5b k39 to benefit form t1 cav? Flat on hp cav and rest siege attack and ground defense on % ? Or building a second general with all cav flats better option ? Please let me know.
Highly suggest flat cav hp refines. Depending on troop composition and what you want to protect against…you can decide what to focus attack on. I have read in a couple spots from some people who have built quality defense keeps…that flat refines on the defense stat for bigger keeps based on the dynamics of how the defense metric is applied are not all that helpful. So refining for ground or cav % defense is more beneficial. Best of luck 🙌 D D
Building a second general would be best but is extremely difficult and costly. So if you have the ability to do that…definitely…but the prior comment would be my suggestion if you wish to invest resources in only one defense setup.
As a K33 keep with almost maxed tech at this keep level and with 7 subs with 2~3 piece of achae gear each general, until what keep level I can take a solo hit?
So many factors that go into it. What are you getting attacked by. Their buffs, troops, etc. I think you can continue to grow comfortably from that level and feel confident in defending a solo attack. As you level higher and increase tech and sub gear your buffs and debuffs will improve and likely you will grow your troop levels as well. So as the opponents get stronger, you will too. The only way to know is to try. I fail and learn from the mistakes and make changes accordingly to try and learn and get better every day.
Worrying how Evony started asking about T1 traps on the latest developer call . . .they could very easily nuke the effectiveness of them, to sooth the complaints of huge spenders childishly annoyed because they cant scout it seems and cant simply zero these well built, intelligent, smaller castles when the blindly hit them.
Hey nice video 😊. My friend want to go for t1 and want wings what troop type you suggest he should go far atleast then don't get soloed in 1 tap he is 400m as of now.
I’d suggest ground or cav. Ground cost food, cavalry costs food and wood. May be easier to do ground and just focus on gathering the food for it. Regardless either works effectively it done correctly. Good luck! D
@@evonywithRSPandVIG thankyou but one of my friend had t1 cav 100m and 5m t2 100k each , he was 1 tap by a 23b player by ground march, server was on head 😂

To maximize debuff, what do you think about using a debuffing general as wall assistant? Is it more beneficial for T1 defense?
